All of their sketches were funny but there is something about their married couple ones that are just outstandingly horribly brilliant! The endless simmering toxicity and resentment of Simon and Jackie is so perfectly observed and true to life! We've all met a couple exactly like that at least once!
Yeah, the passenger couple they do on this show, Peter and Judith Were hilarious, but I loved the couple on Catherine Tate that moaned about foreign food lol. There's definitely something about middle-aged, middle England couples that is hysterically funny.
@@oliverstemp9132 probably both, as it’s low cost and the airport featured is London Stansted which is Ryanair’s biggest base. I miss working for Ryanair when they had 6 aircraft in the 1990s. Good old days.
@@bfc3057 I think it’s a mash up of them both. Aer Lingus (or as we called it in Stansted Op’s “Cunnylingus”) also went Low Cost in the 00’s. FlyLow was a take on easyJet and it’s Greek CEO, in the programme - Stelios Haji-Ioannou, the founder.
I discovered this show as an American pre teen on Netflix back in 2013 or 14 and didn’t understand it at all. I’ve come back as an adult and genuinely feel this is the best comedy show ever. Little Britain is funny but this is just another level of genius.
Not ONE main character in Come Fly With Me is decent, wholesome or moral. All of them idiots, idle, reprobates, thieves, bullies, bigots, or scam artists...and I love it.
Unfortunately current year 2023 will cancel it if they tried, plus matt and David have disavowed things like this and little Britain as they're concerned with how they're represented now 😐
Its racist, misogynist, homophobic and bloody brilliant . Little Britain and Come Fly with Me were top British comedy which the scumbag suits at the BBC have decided you and me are not allowed to see anymore in case someone is offended. If I am in London anywhere near the BBC I will offend someone right up where the sun doesn't shine.
Absolutely brilliant, these two guys are the loveliest people off screen. Loved their series. I had a phone interview and they actually said “computer says no” 😂😂😂😂😂😂 for you guys who haven’t seen it yet you need to watch them doing fat fighters. 😂😂
I imagine your opinion is informed by the fact that you mostly watch British TV. If you watch entertainment from other places as well, you’ll come to the realization that the U.K. doesn’t have a monopoly on parody, satire, pastiche or comedy. Well, chip chip cheerio.
Peter and Judith are such a funny couple, there's def a touch of realism in all the characters but I have worked for those type couples so many times over the years and I always think "sorry Judith" in his voice in my head when I'm doing a quote with them 😂
This show is great but my all time favourite skits from these two are Bubbles and Desiree. I would cry and struggle to breathe from laughing so hard every time I watched them, and loved nothing better than showing other people and watching their reactions.
We have so many family jokes about a lots of these episodes. They are all saved on a hard drive. Shame that they’re never on tv, would be great if they made more.
Yeah same i just can't believe they are now controversial due to them being a Jamacan and Indian played by a white man though Matt Lucas was apparently born Jewish so maybe those people should let that slide
I love the Liberia part. This comedy used to show the racism and ignorance of other cultures in a way you can't any more just because it's offensive. It was meant to show how bad can people be, it's for the society not to be or become offensive to one another learn by watching learn by laughing.
Its all bullshit, im coloured and my favourite bits was always the racial stuff, especially taj an precious! These 2 pulled it off with perfection and id piss my self everytime and still do.. believe it or not its white people pulling this stuff off air rather then us being offended so to speak, they are pulling it thinking we are offended when 90% of us love it especially when British born an raised but as you know this world only cateres for the minority in everything and one complaint ruins it for everyone sad times..

These 2 were brilliant. Appreciate nowadays wouldn't be accepted but the situations are funny and take the piss out of everyone. Little Britain was awesome. Matt looks exactly like a middle aged English woman called Norma 😂

All the comments claiming that "woke" people got this show cancelled and can't take a joke completely miss the point. Matt Lucas is gay and David Walliams isn't completely straight. Lucas is also Jewish. These shows make fun of people who are intolerant and the fact that these people calling for the "good old days" are so genuinely unintelligent that they don't realise they're the ones being mocked. It's a similar situation as all the catholics who loved father ted without realising they were being satirised. "Woke" people created this show, "woke" people loved this show and the people who hate us don't even understand this show, let alone being able to appreciate it.
