I find it shocking how little attention Tyler Johnson is getting from these Draft “Experts” Tyler Johnson absolutely TORCHED this SEC defense for 200+ yards and 2 TD’s! On top of the fact he has been one of the most consistent and reliable WR In the B1G for 4 years straight. Just criminal that I haven’t seen his name mentioned as one of the best WR in this class.
The Fresno State game was a turning point early in the season. Thrilling game (I was there) in double overtime. That would make a great replay game. Thanks for these games UM!
I was able to attend that game. I don't get out much. 😁 It was actually a special day trip for me. I bought two tickets because I hoped my son could meet me for the only Gopher game we would ever attend together. He turned 38. I wore #27 back in the early 70s. My wife was bever a gootball fan, and my son was an Expert Level downhill mountain bike racer. He has more balls than I did. 😁 And I was a strong safety my senior year. Anyway--- Bulldog Stadium was an experience. Sat with some wonderful Bulldog fans. They kinda became Gopher fans after awhile. We are all Ambassadors when we go into new lands. Fresno was a new land for me. I now have friends there because of the Elite Minnesota Culture.
@@carefulcarpenter I was impressed with the hospitality of the Fresno State fans as well. I snagged a great seat behind the Minnesota bench right before the start of the game. Had to drive through areas of blowing dust heading south from NorCal. I really liked that stadium. I almost felt sad for the Bulldog fans after that marathon of a game. They are passionate and good people. Kind of remind me of Midwest folks.
@@calcrappie8507 You did snag a great seat. I sat next to a local police officer and his wife. They were very decent people. I wish Santa Cruz had more people likecthem. I worked with quite a few Fresno residents this past spring. They drive 4 hours to work at a large construction project for a contractor from the Roseville area. I don't know how they do that? I know many slept in parking lots in Mountain View. Resilient souls they are!
My wife and I were at the Fresno State game too. A great game and so much fun. We live in the Bay Area so a four hour drive only. I became a Gopher fan when my son went to UM in 2016. We sat about 50 feet from the Minnesota fan section and we could really feel the energy there. Those seats were benches and my back won't tolerate 3+ hours on one so we paid a bit more for seats elsewhere. We were surrounded by Fresno fans and they couldn't have been nicer. Even after the game Fresno fans congratulated us on the win. And what a great stadium. 40,700 capacity and, man, was it loud! I've been to a couple of games at TCF Bank stadium but this was by far my best college football experience.
