President Biden was forceful in reiterating he would stay in the race at a solo news conference in Washington, saying he was “the most qualified person to run for president.” #Biden #NATO #WSJ
@@MH-ro1lg every vote from the independents matters, and right now he’s not convincing many of them. President Biden is amazing and I am confident that he can continue another four years as president, but I’m also confident that the independents don’t feel confident; and thus, he’s gotta go.
Trump repeatedly said, “Nikki Haley is in charge of security” - when referring to Nancy Pelosi; “Putin has so little respect for Obama” - when trying to speak of Biden
@@MM-sf3rl Trump does occasionally misplace names. Biden does this about every 5 minutes of unscripted speaking and has a hard time completing a coherent multi-sentence thought.
@_nik 🤣 agreed! I just hope people remember how in 2020 he said he'd cure cancer. He's probably also late for bedtime, he gotta come down off those drugs first though 🤪
it's harder to watch left-biased news sources try to spin this to a positive, knowing that most people will only read the headlines. at this point it's pretty much pure propoganda. "President Biden faces tough questions, not backing down" "President Biden refuses to step aside at high-stakes press conference" reporters are supposed to report, not influence. smfh this is honestly disgusting
and yt/wsj is deleting half the comments here lol probably angry biden supporters reporting everything XD weak mental so much for "dEmOcrAcy" "FrEe SpeEcH" "rEpuBliCanS bAd". who's the real problem here?
this felt like watching our 6th grade class speeches and trying to be supportive to the slow kid who wrote his speech the night before and forgot how it was supposed to go
Possibly both. I have a feeling the democrats who want him out want him to make a fool out of himself. And those who want his to give confidence want him to “try your best” Notice how these questions are pre-determined and preselected. And he has a teleprompter and notes to read
It served its purpose well (I’m not actually sure what it was but) it was a tremendous success. Better than anybody else has done in recent memory. Look around and ask some people. They’ll tell you. This was some of the best conferences we’ve had in years. And the people know that. We’ve accomplished so much today!
He can’t help but say the quiet part out loud. Sir you’re supposed to scan the room and pretend to call on the journalist already knowing the question and how you’re going to answer 💀💀
Sort of. POTUS traditionally has all press members pre-selected for press conferences and the staff try to 'screen' some of the questions with who intends to ask what, IF the press member will disclose it. Naturally preferred media outlets change depending on which party is in power, but they all usually get a chance to ask during some presser but not every presser. Biden's admin has been different by 1) having dramatically fewer pressers than his predecessors, 2) doing a full screening of the questions (as I understand it) to make sure he gets softer questions rather than just previewing for presidential prep, 3) also by not engaging with any attendees who are from critical outlets. Won't claim to be an expert, but that's my understanding.
In June of 2022, US inflation was 9.1% , currently it is at 3%. It takes time for it to impact consumer prices of goods and services. Trump tax cuts, reckless increases to federal spending by Trump, Biden, Obama and George W, Covid , and a growing out of control national debt and other things all attributed to the inflation.
@@thejiggyjigga1 One of the reasons contributing inflation is the federal government kept bumping money to the economy, kept sending stimulus checks and extra welfare benefits to people during pandemic. I don’t understand why you think the 2017 tax cut has anything to do with inflation.
This may have been an average Biden performance, but the cat is out of the bag. After people saw the reality that Biden is in a state of decline, they can’t un-see it
When his PR team wanted him to look healthy and youthful so they put him in a bike race. And he fell off that bike at a stand still. No one thought then "okay maybe he's a bit aged to be making national decisions "?!?!
WE DON'T HAVE TO FEAR YOU. ULTIMATELY, WE ADMIRE YOU. HELP EUROPE! THE US IS NOT THE ONLY COUNTRY ON EARTH! HELP US NOW, NOT AFTER THE 3RD WORLD STARTS BECAUSE YOU DECIDED TO FAIL YOUR COMMITMENTS WITH NATO!
@@WeAreAllOne8 the states have done 978 billion of the 1.4 trillion military spending of nato. Nato doesn’t carry their share of the pie. What a ridiculous take. How many members are there??? Why are the ones all the way across the pond fundings over half of everything for a conglomerate of other members landlocked with each other??? NATO shoulda been done decades ago and Americans are finally catching on to it. Whether Biden gets in office again or not is irrelevant people care too much about this as an issue, if it’s not next term it’ll be the following the states start to pull out I’d wager. And rightfully so. No use being in alliances when you’re carrying the alliance on your back and going exponentially further into debt at the expense of your citizens. The states literally have more to gain being completely by themselves than helping with nato in any way. The states accumulate losses every year the more developments that nato accrues. ESPECIALLY with the military industrial complex (hence that being the numbers I sourced, do fact check them please).
Yeah, kinda tough to be feared or admired, when our top politicians went running from a mob that was chanting to hang our VP. Gonna be at least a decade or 2 for the world to forget about that one, or stop using it as propaganda against us. We look ridiculous to the world because our 2 possible candidates are both old men, with one of them being a convicted felon, who lost a defamation case that determined, albeit in a civil case, that he was guilty of SA.
Maybe better than the debate, but not nearly what American’s deserve. A vote for Biden does not appear to be a vote for a fully competent/capable POTUS, and his VP certainly isn’t any better.
Looking from the UK, it still seems more sane to vote Biden than Trump😂 I wish you could get two younger candidates, that are more in touch with reality.
@@annfreels3071oh yeah, especially after several concussive closed head injuries. I have had some and I find it hard to supress salty outbursts over minor irritations.
I turned to my hubby and said, "did he actually call Trump his VP"? I honestly laughed to the point of tears. It really was hilarious but seriously pathetic at the same time.
Clear, concise & convincing! Not really, I'm sorry, I should be praying for this man, forgive me Lord. Have mercy on this Man. He is so lost and a complete sick mess. How can His wife or anyone else around him allow this to happen? They are using him for some nefarious reason.
One thing is obvious, not one in his family loves him ! They're using him up to keep the train hobbling along very sad end. There's a special place in the afterlife Jill and Hunter for allowing a elder to be so completely used!!!
The only reason there would be a list of reporters to ask a question is so they knew what question was coming and had planned an answer, whenever he started to wander off script he would catch him self and stop talking before he lost it
When the "president" in 2024 thinks it's a good idea to mention that he personally knew Golda Meir, who died in 1974, when she was 2 years younger than he is now.
When grandpa is the only one tooting his own horn of how good of a driver he is and saying he only couldn't remember how to get home from the ice cream parlor once when in fact it has been more times that he can still count too, time for him to get with this younger generation and get him a rideshare app!
In case you guys didn’t know “he’s been in the senate a long time”. I started counting at probably four or five and ended up counting like seven times him saying that….
@@Aiel-Necromancerwhen's 7:10 the last time a 3rd party vote did anything? Unfortunately our system is broken, and 3rd part candidates are historically a waste of a vote
just wait until oil prices normalize lol. either that or they wait too long to refill reserves and one shock'll put us somewhere in the middle of the 70s and atlas shrugged
have u heard it all? giving him a list of which reporter 2 call on..if u will notice..scared 2 call on others..not only fake news..fake pres. Putin ain't scared of Joe..does it look it?
Reporter: "What concerns do you have about Vice President Harris's ability to beat Trump, if she were at the top of the ticket?" Biden: "Look I wouldn't have picked Vice President Trump to be Vice President if I didn't think she was qualified to be number one... I think I'm the most qualified person to run for president." The jokes are writing themselves at this point!
CNBC Television has the comments turned OFF on their posting of this video. That should be a violation of the 1st amendment. The American people should be able to discuss their thoughts on the President of our country.
7:40 speech is shorter than what’s expected from a college student. List of questioners to call on, and he still can’t recite his answers correctly right off the bat. Complete embarrassment. Honestly I don’t see how the left can recover from this in my lifetime at the very least
