Radar tracking another round of storms headed toward Chicago area | Raw video 

Additional showers and storms will be possible late today through the evening hours. Storms that do pop-up, could turn strong or severe. The greatest risk for severe weather will be for areas south and southeast of Chicago. It's this area that has the best chance of storms producing damaging winds and large hail. There's also a slight threat for isolated tornadoes. Rain chances decrease by late evening, and we'll be mainly dry overnight with lows in the upper 50s.
Widely scattered showers will be possible on Monday with highs in the low to mid 70s. There's a better chance for scattered rain and storms for Tuesday afternoon.
Cooler and drier weather arrives Wednesday, then temperatures will increase again by late week.

Tonight: Evening storm chance. Mainly dry overnight. Low 57.
Monday: Partly cloudy with a chance for showers. High 74.
Tuesday: Afternoon scattered showers and storms. High 71.
