Plus it’s January, he doesn’t know about winter/snow, brutally cold. They didn’t even give a chance, it’s new to him. That was not right of them to do. If he knew someone to run off to. I hear stories about farm workers get treated very bad.

Hi our sister, thanks for sharing your video with us!.My take on this young man is he looks very healthy and fit enough to start some farming on the land he is staying at. Even if its not his land. He can grow some quick crops. He is a hustler and he seems to also have the knowledge and experience of farming. So he try both the farming and the selling of whatever can make ends meet for him. Nice job sister and brother!.❤

I worked on the sugar cane Plantation in Florida, as young man from Kingston born and raised, they called me Town man bcuz I’m from Kingston. I was a fast learner my Jamaicans from every parishes give me good advice which I followed. I have never worked so hard in my life but I was determined to succeed. I full filled my six months contract and got requested back . I run off on my second trip. I’m still here in America 🇺🇸 doing well . Gain a lifetime pension and looking forward to retirement with my social security checks also .

Farm work program is not easy. It takes super energy to work on those.massive farm in Canada. Tried it picking tomatoes and couldn't manage it. It's modern day slavery.

@yvettehunter9374 It's modern day slavery. That is how I feel whenever I hear about farm work. Farming is still needed in Jamaica but too many people turn their nose up at being a farmer at home. I pray that David Robinson gets the assistance he needs. He can start off with a business that has a lower initial financial outlay and work up to owning a bike/freezer/igloo etc. Jamaica can be really rough if the financial burden is just on one person.

He has so much la d around his house he should be planting lots of food. I live in Canada we have 3 months of summer and I reap 26 pumpkins, peppers, calloloo, and so many other vegetables. I would have so many beans growing, Making lots of money. I say he is laz Tell him to start forking up that land and plant things to sell. He wants an easy job,ride the bike and sell icecream. I think he did not tell the truth about the farm work in canada. He probably said it was too hard and refuse to comply and they sent him home. I am a woman an I have never heard any one not able to work with tomatoes. He is not in the freezing cold trying to plant. I live among many Jam in canada, all they do is smoke & .ime all day here, they never want to work

He is a very handsome young man who crying out for help. He seems set on selling Ice cream but living in such a remote area would not be a good idea. With the financial help he should be encouraged to grow some quick crops on the land that he could reap within a few weeks in order to sell at the market.

To be honest, he is a show me tell me person like myself, I think very deep in how he spoke, lots of people don’t understand and have training, if you read into what am saying you will see where am coming from. USA is not much easier, what they should do is give him a little training and give the young man a chance. He is honest and sometimes even though he cannot function in that capacity, give him a chance because he is honest. I pray you get some help.🙏🏾🙏🏾
