Hi Megan! Love your videos and the style of your content. I just started freelancing and have some backend work for a client I would like outsourced but I'm not sure where to look. Where do you recommend I find someone for these minor roles? Would love if you did a full video on this as well since I have yet to see anyone talk about this on RU-vid in full detail!
Great question!! I found a lot of contracted people like copywriters and developers through instagram. Also upwork! But I can make a video on this too!
Hi. Just checked your site. It's not optimised for mobile phones. Try increasing the font size for mobile. I Sounded like a bot.sorry ! Congratulations on starting this. Gives me the confidence to start too. Keep going!!
Do RU-vidrs really want to teach us? If all of the viewers started making and selling digital products on Shopify, wouldn't be she facing a lot of competition? This really confuse me and maybe that is why i never succeeded by watching average RU-vid videos and tutorials.
the only competition we face is ourselves. If you have that mindset that everyone is your competition you will never succeed. You are different and what makes people want to buy from you is you plus the solution you have to the problem they need solving. Take what these videos teach you and put your own spin.
People who are really making money doing what they do don’t have time to teach others how. Running a successful digital product business takes A LOT of time. Between product creation, sales channel management, customer service, copyright/intellectual property battles, etc., it’s more than a full time job. And the more detailed the tutorials, the less likely they are actually a top player in their niche and someone you’d actually want to listen to; because they are literally saturating their own market. No successful entrepreneur would do that. No offense to anyone here, but I’ll never tell a single soul how I got my businesses where they are - especially someone who’s trying to become my competitor. If I’m taking the time to do a whole video, it’s to sell my product. Training my competition is the last thing I’d ever do. I don’t doubt that this creator is successful, but what she’s selling here isn’t how to be a competitor in her industry - it’s her coaching and/or graphic design services.
