I wish I had your ability to read a passage and actually REMEMBER what I just read whilst within the time limits. The fact you managed that whilst verbally explaning your train of thought is insane.
I can see that his technqiue is as follows 1. look at passage - do you want to do it? 2. read answers to get idea of what to look for -- spot keywords 3. read passage (especially in your first go) and categorise information based on paragraphs as you go along and find answers based on keyword from statement 4. once you see what you are looking for then focus on this area before moving further on in the passage other good things to ask yourself: is the passage written in the authors perspective as a whole or are the only written to inform with some opinions of author scattered around
Hey guys, just a quick question, did anyone else find these questions easier than the questions on Medify??!! I've noticed that Medify has enormously increased its difficulty in VR now.
im currently doing medify and I find the VR section insanely hard. I've been practising for at least a month now but my score never seems to improve which is why i resorted to yt videos instead. If medentry is even harder than this then god bless whoever's taking it
Yes, I agree! I can't say much as I am still in the early stages of my UCAT preparation, however I've been using medify as well and I've noticed that the medify questions seem enormously more difficult and complex in comparison to other question banks.
@@layanjuma3289 fr, Sometimes I get 60% other times I got 40%, I never seem to improve, I did a mock and I got 630, I really need to get 700 in each section tho so I’m really stressing bc I’m not getting better
dude is a machine, i couldn't keep up. I'm scoring about 90th percentile untimed but finding it so difficult to get through all the questions under timed pressure

@@Howisit0000 thanks for the reply! Unfortunately VR was my worst section only scoring 570, I was shocked as my medify practice showed consistent results of over 620, but I guess the nerves got the best of me. In total my score was 2770.
Emil fantastic video mate! Really highlighted to me on how spending a bit longer on certain questions to increase the accuracy is worth it compared to speeding through and triaging those questions. Would you say the font on the subtest you just did was similar to the actual exam or different? Thanks!
When you are reading the passages, what is your strategy for reading fast whilst still understanding why the text is asking you? Also really good video 👍🏽
hi, i know this might be a bit late but, in the last sentence it says that it this painting is unique because it doesnt feature any floors and ceilings which means that they normally do have floors and ceilings and as the question is about what themes are prominent this would mean it cannot be floors and ceilings, hope that helped!
Hey eddy love the I new Ucat series My question is a bit off topic as i sat a half yearly’s for chem. I worked extremely hard but the performance didn’t project the hard work. I wanted to take ur advice on what one should do 1 week Prior an exam. I personally did many past papers, I felt that I misused the past papers
Doing past papers is a good idea at that point, but make sure that you are reviewing your past papers extremely carefully and making sure that you aren't just ticking your answers right and wrong and moving on. If you spend 3 hours doing a paper, try to spend minimum 1.5 hours reviewing it!
Hello Emil, I just wanted to ask if the passages are this long on the actual exam because the ones I am doing on Medify are extremely long (500+ words).
