Love the kid out there hustling for his trip to Washington. I grew up the "less advantaged" kid in a much wealthier area but always hustled and found a way to keep up with my peers without asking for my parents help. I promise, that extra $5 meant a lot!! Keep it up Matt

I really appreciate your attitude and consideration toward the vendors. I mean who else would say, "Just for fun" or give a kid an extra $5? I collect vintage glass and ceramics and you sure passed by lots of it!
I would have wheeled and dealed and got the second set of flatware! It has more potential for big profits because of the mid century design, that's so popular now.

You definitely have the Midas touch. I like how you adapt to whatever item is before you and break down the potential profit. Some resellers stay in their 20-30 item safe zone (some not even that).
Damn right I would buy nearly absolutely anything as long as I could make a decent profit from it.Loads of people laugh cause I buy weird shit but I make good money from it so who gives a fuck.
@@anymoose Here we go someone always wants to argue. My point was some resellers won’t venture into items out of their comfort zone because they don’t want to put in the effort. I wasn’t talking about resellers who only pick specific items because it’s their specialty.

Around 11:25 there is a green glass serving plate with a handle. My mother had the same one and I've never seen another one. Thanks for the sweet memories. Yikes, those hats!!! The fork with the wooden handle is worth it if you have a bigger set. I’ve sold them in a lot for pretty good money. They are heavy though. That’s when Regional boxes came in handy.
Im pretty convinced that at about 10.20 I saw quite a lot of Villeroy and Boch Naif [by laplau and from Luxembourg} - each item worth a lot in the UK !
Loved the blue deer! Great start to your hunt! I wanted to see the big aluminum (?) pan on the ground with the silverware you bought, and near the serving set on the table was another set with wood handles, might have gone with the set you passed on but from what I could see they looked nicer. A little elbow grease and it would be a nice set. I would never be able to get $40 for a care bear or cousin, used to back in the 90's before all the repro's came out. Good eye! Do you shop Locker Nuts space when he;s there? He has decent prices.
