Haven't even started the video yet but this is just wonderful, the lack of real MTG content is a void that needs to be filled. Thank you Mengu's Workshop!
As someone who really only dabbles in pioneer i love these videos that i can use to learn and expand my knowledge on the landscape of other formats, always great to hear the thoughts behind all the plays and possible angles to take. Keep it coming!!
I REALLY love this kind of veedeos, wish youtube had more content like this. Thank you Mengu and Tommy for providing this to all of us. WE ALL LOVE LEGACY VEEDEOS.
Paper Legacy play is what the Magic World needs alot more of. And even moreso.... televised. I really wish this format was given the respect that it deserves by its creators. Thank you Mengu for the content! A true ambassador of the format. )
Thank you Mengu and Tommy! This Format is really awesome and i hope it wont be the last time we see you play tournaments. You are an awesome Team and can't get enought of you're videos
Awesome content, last played Legacy like 6 years ago. But this format is so powerful and interesting with so many deck choices. Loved your deck choice btw!
I would so love to see more of this. I know it's a lot of work, but there's such a drought of paper magic coverage anywhere, so it's very appreciated. Thank you!
I know this veedeo took a lot of effort and it really paid off, super smooth to watch and the commentary about your thought process added a lot! Thank you Mengu and Tommy for the great paper content!
I loved the video. Great editing! Very cool to have a whole tournament under 2 hours. I really liked Mengu talking through his thoughts, like how he figured out what was in his opponent's hand, or why he decided to be more aggressive in certain spots.
My living wish is to see Mengu in a Premodern big event hope to see it one day ! The set up and the cameras was incredibly also the post view matchup analysis too. Congrats Mengu and Tommy !
love pauper! premodern definitely has my interest as well, and do enjoy legacy and this style of video a lot too! a lot to be excited about in the future it seems!
I saw the entire video, really like that kind of content. In my opinion the best one possible related to "competitive" Legacy. Hope to see more of that, despite the effort of Spadaccino Tommy, but i think it worth it! Hope that the public realize the added value 🙂
My legacy deck of choice currently (playing the Murktide / Beans version however). Amazing video and content in general, really been looking for these sort of gameplay breakdowns and more paper magic content
@@MengusWorkshop I do! Their 5-0 league list from 19th of May is great, although I prefer 1 more stifle over spell pierce in the main. I also preferred two surgical over two spellbomb but I'm sure regardless of the list it would be great to play (would love to see a video like this for it as well)
The classic nerd handshake in end of game1. Try to fistbump, doesn't see turn it into handshake, but he saw then turned into fistbump, into wierd handshake at end.
This is so so soooooo cooool!!!! I wonder if you coulld do this for more of youre events like LMS, even youre fnm woulld be great!!! You guys are the best
love the content in the future you're commentating will forsure get better and maybe get a boom mic for better audio in the future but this is beyond expectations and you can forsure surpass all the other mtg channels soon.
great quality content. thank you and Tommy so much for the enormous effort to edit the video and the commentary brings it to an other level. Hope you'll make more movies like this one.
In the match against Giordano Nolfo, at 1:12:24 aprox. he is looking for an island and in one point he finds that there are two mountains one after another and pick one and puts it in another position. Is this allowed?
Although I can't afford legacy myself, I'm a huge fan of your paper veedeos and enjoyed this one from start to finish! Is there a way I can give you some money for your work?
Not saying anything wrong occurred but I don’t like for my opponent to look at my rhino pile than shuffle it and put it on the bottom. I would much rather them look at it hand it to me to shuffle than allow me to present it back to them so everyone knows they are shuffling a random order with no influence. Its picky I know
At the start of each match, you should name your opponents deck "????" and only reveal it once the game reveals it. I think it would add a little suspense.
nice video but you know your last opponet should get an lose because of rule violation. Dont play your land over your other permanets that a real bad happed and not allowed. (MTR 4.7 Game Layout )
If I knew the name or twitter handle i loved to shout them out, I always do that if you follow me on Twitter. When I 5-0ed the first time I tweeted that I found this list on mtgodeck. twitter.com/Mengu09/status/1765404584325812348 You could have used this platform to showcase your friend in a nicer way but came off very arrogant.
@@MengusWorkshop oh sure, I'm sorry if I'm too arrogant for pointing out this list is from someone else! Totally my mistake, I thought you'd learn to give credits after being called out on Twitter like that, thanks for the link proving it wasn't the first time though
