Many criminals just walk free because there’s such a backlog of cases they never get a court date or it comes so late that witnesses are no longer available or evidence has been lost🤦♂️ Won’t happen here though because all the witnesses are other officers + cctv 😂

Good work by Police. We need the Government to deter crime with harsh prison sentences and deport non citizens. Any Economic migrants or Asylum seekers convicted of crimes should be refused any claim to remain in UK directly by law. Respect our communities or leave. Make our streets safe again.

The met disbanded the Venice team that worked on these,my pal was with them for 14 years,they are now gone due to funding,my mate said it will be a free for all for the thief’s,they done good work those lads and ladies

Some £10k Rolex are going for £15k on the grey market. Without the box and papers you’d still be looking at £7k-£8k. What the Grey market needs to think is if the watch has jst been released and is maybe 6 months old….what are the chances of losing the box and papers in that time….. don’t buy them without them and ask for proof of purchase…. Bank statement etc!!!
For anyone who doesnt know , hi im a former counter terror officer , the reason the camera operator is dancing around and not focusing on the "fight " is to provide live information to the pursuing officers , not entertainment for viewers, hence why they dart away as soon as they see someone who has been "grabbbed ", not excellent work but certainly good work by the operator. For those assuming its so the police can act brutally without recompense, there are fixed cameras , body cameras , witness statements , medical checks and so on and so on ... These lads did a good job , about the officer who enacted a brilliant takedown at the start , hope you didnt get too hurt on the cobbles , if you did i hope youre enjoying your paid leave !
It’s amazing what lengths police will go to to protect rich peoples jewellery and profits. That’s even more disgusting than jewellery robbers, the fact a lot of police will go to more effort and time to protect the rich rather than protecting poorer people

This is a minor investigation compared to most serious crimes . By all means look for fault but use an equal amount of criticism for the other side of the argument . Why did 8000 people get arrested for social media posts while most thefts gets shelved . It sounds like you have a very strong opinion without very much knowledge , I don't mean that as an insult , I'm the same in other things . But try looking at the otherside . Maybe why not become a special constable yourself for a week or two ? Walk a mile in someone else's shoes perhaps ? Predators look for easy prey, they don't look to prey on those that can defend themselves. The outcome of this video reminded me of the expression "when the hunter becomes the hunted". Nice to see the police arresting violent criminals instead of people posting uncomfortable truths on social media.
Purely down to money. Expensive watches most likely ensured...if its the average persons house getting robbed with no insurance,they have no interest. Literally a bunch of children using taxpayers money to fund any movie style tactics they employ. Adding to the ever increasing statistical evidence of particular types of crime and ethnicity. And first and second generation immigration issues and outcomes. One could also walk the landings of HMP Belmarsh, Wandsworth, Feltham, Brixton, Wormwood, Pentonville, Highdown, etc to see ethnic communities and their contribution to Prison population compared to their percentage of the population of London. Disproportionately high and a Statistic that is swept under the carpet - similarly with the STABBING/KNIFE carrying community.
Shouldn't have to operate in that way. Extremely dangerous even for highly trained officers. All the best to them, hope the sentencing is worth the effort.

@Drop_The_Mic Based on the fact Britain, specifically London, is literally plagued with hordes of hostile-violent-angry young Muslim men from all over Africa and the Middle East, having taken over entire blocks of neighborhoods which even the police designate as no-go, where they have their own 'Muslim police force' and a Muslim Mayor runs the city, where crime has sky rocketed to insane degrees-the likes of which includes aggravated robery/sexual assault and or rape/theft/battery, and based off the fact there are literally gangs of foreign-Muslim criminals swarming the city and these "kids" here are blatantly African or Arab Muslims, I'd say we have it on very good authority these weren't "citizens," and even if by some miracle they are they sure as hell aren't "British."
Just like in Germany. But in Germany there are Lebanese, Syrians, Moroccans, etc. Mostly very young boys, between 13 and 17. Unfortunately, they are not even properly punished here for acts of violence, robbery and rape. They almost always only get suspended sentences

Because the majority of material that is newsworthy is not this. As a normal law-abiding citizen, you don't see the thousands of hours of real police work that takes place 24/7/365, as well as the behind-the-scenes paperwork, bureaucracy, and time-wasting decisions from those above. It's so depressing to go to work knowing people just believe everything they see or read, and think we are the bad guys and are all in it together against the public - which we are a part of with our own friends and family all independent of the job...

The people stealing them are paid by people higher up the chain. They use women to befriend people in clubs to identify the watches. They then tip off the thieves. The sentences need to be 8 years minimum as a deterent and not released until they provide the details of those higher up the chain.
And I bet once they get in front of a judge , if it goes that far they'll be let off with a slapped wrist , or even a hand shake for them to do it all over again .
Seems inconsistent that the police are seemingly unable or uninterested to find the people who burgled your house, but will go to extreme lengths to catch watch thieves.
I mean it's harder than it looks for the police. Only way to really catch them, is by catching them in the act. You expect an officer to sit out infront of your house all night?
@@kaspervestergaard2383obviously not. It's the fact that a large proportion of burglaries aren't even investigated now. I know an example where the person was reliably informed about the identity of the burglar, and the police simply weren't interested in investigating it. The police, however, will seemingly swoop into action after reports of a "hate crime", though. The country does seem to be becoming more lawless.
But most of the cases aren't these slam dunk ones. I agree those that are should be investigated. Also likely they just don't have the resources. Alot of investigators close their cases almost before even getting them. It's sad but just the reality we have to deal with. One thing is for certain: too many immigrants. @@zlorrrrrf
Amazing see what happens when you take officers away from mountains of paperwork and put them on the streets? This is why people REALLY want to join the police not to deal with protestors or someone being misgendered. Met chiefs just need to do their damn jobs and bring down crime. No matter what.
