Having no audience and muted microphones are the best ideas. Without those two rules it becomes a circus rather than a debate. Hopefully it will force Trump to talk about policies.
Hopefully, we will all still be able to hear him ranting off in the distance every time his microphone goes dead. Hopefully, since there won't be locks on the cubicle doors, he will be unable to sit still, but will get up & throw his fits & get himself on camera doing it. We don't want this regrettably necessary setup to actually protect his image from himself.
I don't understand why there is so much focus on age in the media. They are both old, age is a factor for both of them, not just Biden. I wish we had younger candidates on both sides, but we don't.
I can't unfortunately think of anything outrageous that trump would say during the debate with Biden that would disgust or put off any of his voters. Nothing.

We do expect Wikipedia to presents both sides, EVEN multiple sides of the conflict. But do we expect an advocate to present both sides? Wikipedia can make a strong argument that groups that are advocates shouldn’t provide certain data because it could be skewed one way or the other. They have a point when they say that. If you aren’t independent question, are you presenting the entire story. You can’t blame them for saying, any groups that are advocates we can’t trust any of you to present the story whole heartedly. That does not mean you’re organization is not presenting the entire story. It just means they have said we won’t rely on any advocacy groups when it comes to presenting data to people. It’s not that your group is good or bad. It’s that they say advocacy is where they draw the line. They didn’t say anything bad about your group. They just said we don’t take anything from advocacy groups. It’s a standard that they said make sense because one advocacy group may truly tell you the entire story. We all know other advocacy groups that do not so they simply said we don’t deal with any of it, they don’t wanna take the risk

Wikipedia has a point. The ADL primarily focuses on calling out and mitigating defamation against Jewish groups. Its research is based on gathering information about hate speech targeted towards these groups and communities. As such, it would be impossible for them to be unbiased in their assessment of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

They may be. Wikipedia has been pretty reliably non-partisan for a long time... but... anti-Jewish anti-Israeli bias has become SO extremely pervasive and toxic and virulent that... I'm skeptical... I'd have to see their reasoning and evidence before accepting this position. I've never personally seen the ADL put out anything that was overtly biased or not backed up by facts but I don't read everything they write and haven't seen anything recently... if their position is, like this gentleman on the show puts it (he may be spinning the story), simple that Israel has a right to exist... which is a proposition that many today take issue with... then... Wikipedia is wrong and the ADL is right. This is a perfectly reasonable position, the only right and ethical one to take, and those that oppose it are wrong in numerous ways and themselves biased. They should have probably had someone from Wikipedia on to offer a counter point, though.

Marc Cuban said he would vote for Biden on his deathbed before he would vote for Trump. I would vote for the first random stranger I saw on the street before I would vote for Trump. My vote goes to Biden--it will always go to any politician I trust to leave office if they lose.
After listening to these very learned men speak about their cities and their relationships with one another regardless of party affiliation I realized that they more than any other level of government I’ve listened to during this election period care about the people they represent. They are more interested in entering into a dialogue with one another to make their cities and the lives of their constituents better. They seem to be listening to each other’s opinions and ideas about policies and how to move forward regardless of what side the ideas are coming from. They obviously respect one another both professionally and personally and that’s refreshing. Maybe it should be policy for politicians to hold local and then state office before they can run for a federal office and to qualify to run for president a person must have held office in each level of government beforehand, this would ensure the candidate had the understanding of what a governor at each level must be competent in to be an effective leader. It would also give the public a truer understanding of how a candidate might preform in the office they are attempting to attain. It seems to me that either of these gentlemen would be a better candidate than the convicted and failed candidate for the Republican Party now taken over by Maga. Hopefully the repaired new version of the original Republican Party can rid itself of the inserection of these radical Maga sycophants and return to the party that they were once proud to call their own.
The ADL's definition of antisemitism is not the internationally accepted one. The internationally accepted definition does not include the state of Israel. They've earned their designation as unreliable.
