@@Kt-cn2rq foster puppy means, that you take a dog into your care, so they don‘t have to stay in a shelter. You only keep them temporarily until they find a forever home. With foster fail they mean, that they won‘t be able to find a new home and that they will need to adopt the puppy (keep it forever)
@@KJ-iv5pd but like in this case and a lot of them its not only that they are not finding a parent to adopt but they just want to keep the dog because they began to love it
@@KJ-iv5pd People really don’t understand how fostering works and how selfless it is to find the pup a good forever home so you can continue to help other dogs in need.
"Scuse me. Pardon me. Hi Mister! Scuse me, I'm going dat way. Pardon me, I think that was a tail, was it mine? Scuse me sir, pardon me. Oh a paw. That is DEFINITELY mine." Nom.
I'm currently going through this. 🥲 I got a Boxer/Rottweiler puppy in mid-August. My Chihuahua is taking his time learning to tolerate him. Right now, the puppy is having a hard time understanding that the Chihuahua doesn't like to play indoors.
Same here. I have an old chihuahua and she finally learned to tolerate being around our new puppy after a week or two. But he’s always pushing her buttons when he wants to play and she hatesss when he tries to play with her lmao
@@cryptidan Oh no you don’t think I’m fun 🥺 😔 🙄 How about this I’m a good foster mom to my doggos and I care more about their well-being than my own emotional gratification. Rather be that then fun to you.
I just wanted to share an encouraging thought. As someone who also has a reactive dog. You keep trekking along, no matter how difficult. No matter what anyone says. Having a reactive dog that only shows the worst to others, but you know in his heart he's capable of so much. The time you put into helping them get along shows and you should be commended! Glad that he has a buddy! Every dog should have a buddy!
@@Human-shapedbeing she is a cutie 🥰 They will find her an awesome forever home real soon. Your amazing for fostering it must be hard to give them up when the time comes god bless you 🙏🏼💕
Thanks for clarifying he's a reactive dog and thanks for giving it the time to know the puppy better! This is too cute. I have a very reactive dog as well but she's the best guard dog I could've asked for
Why are you sad he’s a foster? That means they’re helping him to find a great forever him do they can continue to help other fogs in need. You guys really don’t care about animals do you? Just your own emotional gratification.
I have two older dogs, Penny - a 9 y/o Boston terrier pug mix; and Ginger - an 8 y/o undefined dog breed (she’s big though) and we just recently got a puppy whom is four months old now. But Ginger really hated this puppy along with Penny…Ginger was very aggressive toward the puppy and Penny was just scared and shy. But after a month, just one month, Ginger loves the new playmate, and Penny loves her snuggle buddy.
As soon as the pup pulled that rolly flop maneuver i watched him have a grinch-moment. Like "oh gosh why do i kind of love this thing?" Idk if that made sense. Regardless, so very cute! Good job introducing them!
The fact that your dog was so reactive at first and by the end allowed the puppy to but them on their back… chefs kiss, that was so cute! People dont realize that reactive or “aggressive” dogs are usually scared or uncertain. Often times they just need time to be socialized to this new thing and learn that its okay and its not gonna hurt them. This isn’t always he case but its pretty common.
The way they're so good for teaching each other ❤️❤️❤️ Good on you for taking the time to do this proper and carefully!! It can be so difficult to train a reactive dog out of it but getting a puppy to help and having TONS of patience, it can turn out beautifully like this
Nothing like a puppy to force the love ❤ my reactive dog hated the car and the little monsters, but an 18 hour road trip turned him into a love bug with his head out the window
that's how much dogs reacted. puppy was perfectly forgiving and just wanted to love the older dog and the older dog was tough on him until after a while they were snuggle buddies and shared food and toys.
I LOVE this song!! So catchy and makes me think about, and be grateful for, everything that makes this unique life I’m living so great. There are things I will truly miss upon leaving this world and oddly this song invokes all my positive life experiences. God bless you all❤
I have a pretty anxious and reactive 1 1/2 year old Maltipoo! Despite socializing her and taking her out to experiences new settings, animals and people; she was still super anxious! I am currently taking her to training classes for it which has been helping so much and she’s slowly getting over her anxiety which is amazing to see; I’m so proud of her and her hard work!❤️ We also just got a labradoodle puppy who is so sweet and friendly and at first she would be like this with him as well but now she loves him and gets excited to see him! 🥹❤️
We had the same thing. 6 mo puppy came to live with our 8 yo rescue who is wary and often reactive. It went very similar to your video. They are thick as thieves now. It restores your faith as well, knowing he has such a good friend now
