Such a beautiful song! Most people don’t think when they say their vows that some will be tested. I got hurt in 2010 now after 12 years, 5 major back surgeries and every thing you could think of before those surgeries we’ve come to the part of sickness and health. My husband has stood by me the whole time even though I can’t hardly walk and when I do I’m bent over. So many things I can no longer do but he’s right there with me. I love him even more now than ever!!! That’s what love is!!!!
My husband and I have been together for 19 yrs and married 17. I get the sickness and health because I was healthy and now I’ve got a laundry list of medical issues. Multiple surgeries a g tube (feeding tube for short term) last yr and now a Mickey feeding tube (which is long term) countless things I can’t physically do anymore. Now add the mental component and I’m a damn hot mess! But he said “I meant every word of my vows and ur still the most beautiful woman in the world to me. Sickness and in health means the good days the bad days and the days u don’t want to get out of bed”. I never thought our love would be “tested” by all the medical issues but I know he’s always there by my side and I wouldn’t want to do life with anyone else! I’ve seen him through multiple deployments, missions away, being gone too many months to count. I’ve raised our babies while he’s financially provided for them. This really is a team! I’m glad there’s other guys out there like my husband!

Aww .. I'm with my Love at 1st sight. Together 21yrs now with a beautiful daughter. My father growing up said you will never date a construction worker. Well he brought him over for a grill out & the WEBN fireworks & I was in love. Dad said I saw you looking at him working on the truck. I said yes, he said nope. Guess what, he's mine. LoL My father is in heaven now & said before he passed, he is so happy we got together. It was a blessing for all of us. My father was a Forman/Concrete Construction worker. My Love still works for the same company I grew up with. Just hope to get married one day. We had the funds but spent them on a family member health wise. Not upset because I love to help & I was thankful we had the funds to help out. One day it will happen just don't know when. I want a real wedding not a Justice of Peace. I want to wear my 1st dress & be walked down the isle. (I don't wear dresses).

Ladies, as ive gotten older i have learned, love is an action, its selfless and open. Suddenly after many years he wants out. Wisdom; always have a bank account in another bank. Add to it through the years. Build your own credit. Don’t look for or fear divorce, but if they surprise you one day, i promise you they have spent time preparing. Always be involved in the bills, the bank, the accounts and the words or, and on checking. Make sure your name is on utilities too so you can transfer without deposit in same town. If your a stay at home mom, you are called sweat equity lol so dont let them tell you, you get nothing. Read, read, read the laws n your state. Ok, yes living through it, God bless you all.

Its so hard starting over i was with my ex for 8 years he cheated on me with my former best friend i couldn't talk to guys for years i hated them i have had previous bad relationships before him but this was the icing on the cake this broke me .. fast forwarding to 6 years later when I wasn't even looking love found me we have been together for 10 years now he was the missing peice to my puzzle we finish each other's sentences we laugh we love we communicate.. That's one thing that you have to know and understand. You were so young at that time. I know I was young I got married, I was to young but I learned from my mistake and I didn't repeat it. And whether you are a man or a woman you don't let the other person control you. And if they say they can't handle it or they don't love you no more tell them there's the door and don't let them back through it. I did just that and I stood by what I said. Then I met at 22 years old the love of my life. And I am almost 70 now, I can't even believe that I am that age ha ha. And my husband passed away two years ago I don't celebrate any holidays I can't even get his shoes out of the house. His clothes are hanging in his closet under plastic. I go for months and never see no one. I talk to my friend over the phone and that's it. Long story, too long! Thank You 🥰

Such a beautiful song I have no idea how she can sing it now. In one of our new songs she references the fact that they almost canceled the wedding. And it's heartbreaking to see them go 10 years get married and divorced in 6 months. I think a lot of times when someone has been fighting and clawing their way to the top once they get there or close some of the people in your life aren't happy
