Y'all. She and my daughter went to the same performing arts high school and carpooled to school every day. My daughter was Amneris to her Aida! I used to drive them both to summer musical rehearsals! The joy you see in this performance is ALL Courtnee! She has an amazing family and she is a very hard worker! She deserves all this attention because she is a LOVELY young woman inside and out! We are THRILLED for her!

Just saw Courtnee in Nashville and Y’ALL!!! RUN to the theater near you and see this pure gem absolutely master this role! Is the production stunning...sure, was Kyle Ramar Freeman fantastic...absolutely, BUT Y’ALL! Ms. Carter was without a doubt the brightest star in the sky full of bright star in this production!!!

Mekeishakayla hmm I see where you’re coming from but I’m not quite sure if Ti Moune and Daniel should get together simply because the book that Once On This Island is heavily based on the original Little Mermaid fairytale. The similarities are already pretty obvious right now and it would probably be even more noticeable in a Disney movie. So unless Disney actively markets Once On This Island as loosely based on The Little Mermaid, they should probably do either the actual ending or one that’s not them marrying each other cuz I think it would ultimately be beneficial if the ending isn’t too similar to the original Disney’s Little Mermaid.

I saw the touring cast of Once On This Island just recently and she was an amazing Ti Moune! I met her and her family after the show, they were so nice and all beautiful! Courtnee is fantastic!

I got the opportunity to see THE opening night of the tour in Nashville (I didn't even realize it was the first tour performance until that night!!) and oh my goodness what an experience. This girl is INCREDIBLE!!! I feel so fortunate to have been able to see her as Ti Moune because she was absolutely perfect.

I saw Courtnee on Broadway when she was the understudy as Ti Moune and she has definitely grown since I saw in December of last year! I can’t wait to see her again this year in December and see in her the touring production.
