Mark Thorton is a obvious POS, and anyone can see that he uses people for a living, but people watch him. He stood up Regular guy who traveled from Butaun City to Bohol and then Dumaguete and Thorton stood him up. There is too much drama for me in Dumaguete as Pinay's will attack you on Facebook and say you did things you didn't do and other nonsense. Too many guys there loving the 40 year age gap for me, as its legal and their business but its creepy. Duma has a well deserved nickname for these guys and why some are going there I am guessing. Thanks Matt I know I will get lots of flack for this but it's so true old guys with 30 year gaps is weird all they want are maids and don't even have the decency go give them a proper wedding.

Abrupt end but spot on Even though my wife and I came all the way to Dumaguete for the interview with him. We feel it was worth it because we met you guys and that was worth it's weight in gold. The big-time vloggers there seem to want other big-time vloggers. More views, more subscribers more money. Our channels are too small for them.

@@DanAndRochale Are you using a Gopro? They are notorious for overheating and shutting off. I am looking at the Go 3 (by Insta 360) to take there when I move. Not heard of overheating issues ...yet. But it is newer.
I was asked by my Filipino friend the other day if I was going to an area near other expats when I come to the Philippines. I said what the hell would I want to do that for? The whole point of leaving the States is to get away from other Americans, lol.
An outsiders perspective is that you should develop a thick skin if you want to be a public figure. These guys are little fish in a big pond, and hubris has taken over their delta and gamma minds. That said, they have turned an advocation into a vocation, so time is money. No doubt there are plenty of simps waiting to sit at the feet of the master. There is a glut on Philipines RU-vidrs. Consider another topic. A lesson you might consider is not making disparaging vlogs about people because what you do will be done to you. You might consider taking courses on flogging or even watching other tubers that specialize in equipment techniques, etc. Then, each progressive vlog you make will get better, and dude, if this is an example of your work, there is much for you to learn padwan. If you think this video is ok to upload and stay then it suggests you may not have the eye of an artist. Finally, maybe these guys are having a bad day and are feeling thin skinned about being called sexual predators for targeting financially vulnerable women 30 years their junior who in a million years would have nothing to do with a delta or gamma male if not for the gnawing hunger in their bellies.
Be careful mark Thornton is no fool with his fists he is a old guy but bleave me he can box, He was fighting a man 20 years younger than him and the guy didn't stand a chance against mark. Mark basically took the guy out only using his jab. If it wasn't for 1 of marks friends he would have ended up giving the guy a right beating.
Why was it so important to be interviewed by those guy's ? And why did the guy with the pregnant wife travel so far just for a interview ? Taking into account you can hardly remember their names.

To me and being a new observer and looking outside in to the Philippine culture and Vloging there , it appears the competition to be a star or rising start is intense, and they use everything they can think of to gain a foot hold over the others. This will bring out the worst of people in the end I believe, cause their focus is self centered and not from the heart for their actions and interactions with others. Giving respect and respecting others time and abilities is rule #1, but few people learn or follow this rule of decent human behavior towards others.I think you did the smart thing move to Canada for a while, then move back to the Philippines when you feel the time is right. When I go there, I have already my Filipina to meet me and she is honest and sweet, we will keep a low profile and just enjoy our time together, and I’ll bring her to the USA for a year or more and then move to the Philippines as we grow together and age on, while avoiding most others that are engaged with this daily drama. My Filipina knows you both, and said you both are great and we are super happy for you both and your future together. I would just do your own thing and forget the past, create your future that is meaningful and document that, for others to see. 🙏
