Just keep in mind, good Sarcos won't EVER let you see them. You'll have no clue they're there until they lunge out of the water, deal an instant 200 damage and give you a solid minute of bleed. Sure, you can escape them as a larger, tankier dino, but if you're a something a little smaller, they will tear you to bits with surprising speed.
@@mikeoxsmal69 I believe they are adding a grab mechanic for Sarcos and possibly some future Dinos. I heard rumors about a Titanoboa that would be added doing that? Not sure if that one is going to be added but a snake Dino would be cool.
I've learned to spot mix packs. Usually they're all adults since they can't group quest, so if I see a Carni and Herb adults together its usually no good and I stay away.
The thing with Pycno though is as a solo Dino they are not really a threat to anything except Juvis. Pycno is the testbook example of a Juvi hunter. Pycno is way to squishy to fight mid tiers directly. I main Pycno so I know it’s strength and weakness as a solo
They’re meant to be in packs to really do damage to adults. I like being a solo Pycno and picking fights with allos, Rex my size, and dasps with a Stam pycno because I can easily just retreat after a while. I’ll rarely fight something to the death with a pycno which is cool with me it’s good to get the experience.
I had a pack of 8 deinonychus the other day that got a styra to death scars but we had to call off the hunt when he managed to kill one of us after they got stuck in a rock.
i see you've never dealt with a true sarco main... if the sarcos that tried to kill you where any good they would be s tier, sure they arent the best on land but if a sarco catches you near the water with your guard down your not escaping because they either have the charge and regular bite, or charge and bleed bite which can give you death bleed in three hits
Yea I'd say fighting them they'd be an S tier but I've spotted them more than I have fought them so as a threat level I ranked them pretty low because they're easily avoidable if they didn't get the jump on you.
@@Jagerdelights ya i agree because like 90% of the people who play sarco on offical servers dont even know how to ambush properly, they dont get the idea that they are more dangerous when you dont know they're there , they just see big croc with teeth and go "ooh"
Rexes are really tough, trust me, for every ceratopsian in the game. Even for eos. Spinos are so far the only match for a rex, and thats ONLY if your double defense. I’ve killed plenty of stys and alberts with my rex. Its not pretty, but its ruthlessly efficient against ceratopsians.
I agree but I think they're easily avoidable when you spot one unless you're an anno or something slower. If you were to fight a rex... well thats something else and it would be higher on the tier list.
@@Jagerdelights They are definitely avoidable, but they are also great at throwing a surprise to there prey. I killed a laten by using the charge, and he was indeed standing.
@@Jagerdelights I've been hunted by one before it's possible for them to eat regular meat and they can still eat plants as well, but at the cost of food and water drain
I just ran a 3 pack meg the other day trying to get a Trex. He tailed me in the head twice and brought me down low then bit me for the kill. I need to practice more with them bc I thought we could have took him.
Couple of things are sure about 100% in this game: Sarco is, always and forever, tier SSSSS. Those MF are a pain to deal with it even on land if your not careful enough. One good bite and..done. Spino need some serious buff. The most underwhelming dino in the game right now (together with the Raptors). Devs nees to give us a TRUE Anky instead of that abomination called Ano. Last but not least: Therizino is the king of herbivore. Should be the herb version of the Rex. Right now is not. ps: A round of applause to u for not including that 'pseudo' ptero flyer in the list LOL. Couple of hits from anything and they're gone...
I'm growing a Sarco right now and I dont know... I keep on getting killed on land lol. Maybe people are just starting to know how to deal with them or something but I'm struggling to grow and Adult Sarc.
you kill anything thats too stupid to run away from you who isn't your weight. Trex is incapable of ambush hunting anything, even lying down does a lot of noise.
Oh so you play on community servers, that's nice, in that case you should know the campionem sub para with thick hide and Gutsy will bend a rex, facetank
The terrain is your best ally. As an Amargasaur for example. Find a rock at slope and back up on it. Predetors will have to line up and be forced to attack head on only. The only thing I worry about are those damn ducks, they have no place in the game. Jurassic park should have had a giant duck bigger the the T-rex that can kill it in three hits. F-ing stupid.
That should not be a threat lol, me and my little bro I’m a juvi Alberta and he is a juvi styra, we killed a mfing adult bird , got a trophy So faking weak that that was lmao
birds have the worst defense in the game, and have like 30 more hp (take a hit from a deinonychus and that right there is 30 hp) than alio, which has the worst health in the game. You should be able to kill a bird as a juvie deinonychus.
Anodonto is actually a terrible playable. You spend your time running from one water source to the other, and trying to do some quests along the way. Especially on Gondwa. Also most other dinos will outrange you with their tail attacks, and just meme on you. Or a single Cerato can just apply bonebreak on you and not let you eat and drink, so you die to thirst or hunger in 15-20 minutes. Peak gameplay
Trikes are way too nimble imo. I get that they’re supposed to be the counter to rex but their speed and turning radius is just unfair for every other dino. There’s no reason an eotrike should be able to keep up with a Pycno or Allo even if it is the speed sub species. They should nerf the trikes speed by 25% and reduce their turning radius a bit. As compensation for the nerf they could increase their stamina by like 50% and reduce the cooldown of the charge. This would keep them faster than a rex but make it so they can’t chase down things they shouldn’t be able to. I’m tired af rn but I hope you guys understand what I’m trying to say. Trike should be the herb equivalent of a rex. Y’know, big and slow but can hit hard af. Right now trike has the power of a rex and the speed of an Allo and I really don’t think it should be like that.
