@@ziaahmad3429 actually originally I told him I would let him take us back and I would double the price because I understand he maybe can’t find a ride. but then he tried to cancel the ride, and started getting a bit strange, so I told him I’m going to take a different car on the way back.

Literally not true they are still much and wayy better than stinky rickshaw scammers because Uber and Careem at the end of the ride show you exact fare. Just pay that and leave, If you pay more than that you are an absolute idiot , (There is absolutely no fuckin way they can force you they are registered drivers with all their details with company)

You may left Lahore in a good years and what nowadays must be different than 30 years back, but Chris highlighted above that as a film maker he wants to show the *other side* of Pakistan, because it would be boring to witness sweet things only, right. But it doesn't changes anything about how wonderful his experience in Pakistan. That dirty driver won't change his mind about Pakistan's Hospitality at all.

I had a great time in Lahore! A few bad things don’t turn me off from a place at all. 99% of people were nice, welcoming, and friendly. I found with transportation in Lahore, it’s a bit rougher. With Harry and Mac, my guess is they don’t travel the same way we do. I interact more with the people and so of course I’m going to have different experiences. As for Karl, he also makes videos about scams/bad experiences in India, Pakistan, and Nepal, among other countries. Every country has it, just some countries and some places more than others. But do know that my experience overall in Lahore was still great 😄 but as a film maker, I want to show my real experiences. I show the good and bad. Mostly my experiences are all great though 😝😄

@@chrismixlewis Actually there is nothing to blame you my dear. I am worried about my city, my birthplace. I've spent a good and memorable time here as a child because things were better back then. But when people started migrating here from all over Punjab in search of jobs, good health facilities and education, scam and crime rates have increased. And this thing pisses me off too.

@@AliKhan-fl7zb Hi Ai, I was often charged or quoted more than double or three times the price that Pakistani people paid in Taxis, restaurants and small hotels, when ever I queried the charge the response was very hostile. In Quetta I had to fight off a "pickpocket" and despite my calls for help local onlookers just stood and stared. In Chaman, looking for a Taxi to the border (with Afghanistan) an aggressive man attempted to rip my back pack off and force me into his taxi, again the was no help from people on the street. I left Pakistan thinking "Thank God I'm out of there" Don't misunderstand me Ali, Chris has shown me another side to the hospitality and generosity of the people in Pakistan. Unfortunately it was something I never experienced.

@@BrixtonTone I am sorry, had I experienced the same as you have told me I would have had the very reaction to run out of the country asap, btw it's always better if u have someone local as a friend or first try to get an idea from a 3rd party (non business owner) as to what the thing might be worth. Whenever in a foreign land I guess it's always better to ask the price of taxi before getting into it, same for simcards never buy from airport stalls, money exchanges on airports are worst. But what you have witnessed is beyond baffling and I feel very ashamed that you had to go through that.

A careem driver scammed me in lahore.then I did complaint nd refunded.often I have been scammed in lahore by drivers.

I have my car but I only use it when I need to bring someone with me or far away places, too much rush and parking issue where I live, so I don't use my own car. I got sick of Careem prices so decided to give Uber a try, he wasted my time and scammed me with money too. I became so so angry. Next day, I went to motorcycle dealership and bought a bike, best decision ever. Its easy to use in rush hours, no issue with parking too, cheaper than using Bus fares, quickly takes you to your destination. I now use my moto everywhere I go.

But currently he's in lahore nd Chris never experienced such stammers in Islamabad nd peshawar.i don't know about his karachi tour bcz I never followed him during his karachi tour

He got so much love from majority of pakistani ( he may not get this Loving treat in india ) . Infact indians don't give value as they treat Asians in thier country rudly.
