The beauty of Derek Prince ministries is that indeed, his voice, his knowledge and his practical teachings of how we are to apply Gods word is living on right here!! We are in the age of communication technology that God knew and he put people with that knowledge and skills into Derek’s life for specifically that purpose…to spread this wisdom far and wide. PRAISE JESUS and FATHER that we can see and hear him now. Brother Prince was a very rare and special teacher and I/we are so blessed to hear his actual teachings today on our phones, tablets and computers. I look forward to meeting him, Ruth and Lydia when I get to Heaven. In the meantime I have decided to bless this ministry financially so that it continues on for others. God bless. 💕🙏✝️
Amen this video came right on time please Lord forgive for my stubbornness let me learn to continuously have a submissive heart towards my family 💖✝️🙏🏾
Gossip and judgmental criticism from people who are disobedient to God themselves? No. But some are called to be watchmen to warn the wicked and the righteous.
Yes, as long as the people are really disciples of the lord Jesus and not effectively fallen away, then I agree. The problem these days is that many profess to be Christians, but aren't really under the lordship of Christ. I do not like the word "christian" because these days the most part of the world claims to be christians. It does not really mean anything any more. Therefore, I like the word disciple, just as the earliest disciples used to call themselves, too.
Years ago, looking at the Bible and the teachings, I claimed, I try to be Christian… but it is all His mercy that we are sons and daughters of the Lord God of Israel.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for *doctrine* for *reproof* for correction* for *instruction in righteousness* {2 Timothy 3:16} The truth will be made manifest whether you like it or not. Whether you seek for preachers with itchy ears or not, Gods words will not return to him empty.
Love everyone unconditionally and forgive all things forever. That is your part. Let God find you in his love, look for love in all things. That is God. 😇🤗💖
This is tricky stuff sometimes. Love the person, hate the sin. Some Christians are running after "abortion is a woman's choice" and "love is love" and assisting people attempting "gender transition," and claiming now that Jesus isn't the only way to heaven. When these are people you are related to, even harder. I know I've spoken my piece about how unbiblical these things are, and THEY KNOW BETTER deep down inside because they've read the Bible and had verses pointed out to them. I see that they stubbornly cling to how these new beliefs are "more loving" and that God wouldn't condemn people for what they can't help. There is a tension in "living at peace with all men as far as possible" vs continuing to speak truths in love (when do those words turn into pearls before swine?) I am critical of their heresy, but I can't deny their good intentions. I'm trying to focus on praying for their eyes to open and their hearts to change. Father help me love them more like You do.
I have tried it too...telling people that they are wrong and it's a sin to this and that but there is always an argument when you speak the truth about God's ways isn't it? People like to live in this carefree world without obeying God totally just partially. They see it no harm or no concern of theirs. They say let God take care of it why should we bother etc. It's part of our society now not to care anymore. But we as Christians are supposed to be uncomfortable when we deal with people who don't know God and try our best to teach them. Because I know that God will do the rest.
@@jennycarnie7804 🙏🏼 YES! And to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit about when to speak. I’m reminded of this when I remember brother Andrew (if you have not read his story in “gods smuggler“ you have a treat in store.) Anyway, he was in a situation where he had a captive audience, as it were, a bold sinner. And the Lord told him to hold his tongue. He obeyed even though he kind of thought it was a wasted opportunity. Turns out, the Holy Spirit was right. He used Andrew’s obedient Silence to convict her heart, and she was saved. He had already shared the gospel with her so many times and discussed sin so many times.
i resonate with this so much. and what about when those same progressive Christians who are so loving to lgbtq or whatever then treat you, a brother or sister in Christ, as lesser, as tho you are cruel and not worth the same equal treatment, for speaking the truth?
@@Angel-cu5mf Yes, those progressives can be pretty mean-spirited.… Fully believing that it’s the Bible believing Christian that is the hate-filled evil.
This goes hand and hand with this teaching. 1 Corinthians 11:22,26-32 KJVS What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not. [26] For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come. [27] Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. [28] But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. [29] For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. [30] For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. [31] For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. [32] But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world. Some of the members of the church were eating the bread and drinking the wine to excess , and when the time came for communion, there was not enough bread and wine to go around. And those who did not receive any were shamed. The Lord’s body in verse 29, is the body of Christ, the church. Even simply hurting the feelings of another Christian can bring chastisement by God.
The title doesn’t quite match the contents but that’s fine. Whether as a branch grafted into the vine or a tramp invited into the family, we need to remember submission to Jesus. Amen.
@@bonsaipal Dear brother, don't you think your answer is a bit rude? I think he is aware that at the end he comes to what the title said, but to be honest, this was more a short sideline than the main point in his argument.
@@PeterbFree Seriously?? The man was behind the Vineyard movement. He was a false prophet who promoted false teaching. He chastised people for following the Bible too closely. He said that any 'manifestation" didn't need to be tested. His members would roll around and bark like animals in the aisles. Do some research!
Dear brother, can you be a bit more specific about what you think is wrong with John Wimber? I did not hear many sermons of him but I red his book "power evangelism" which is in most part a good book which leads us back to the roots, that evangelism should be accompanied by power as Paul also said to the Corinthians, he did not come in persuading words, but in power. Furthermore, John Wimber was one amongst thise few who had enough courage in the 90's to criticize some ungodly excesses happening during the so called toronto blessing events.
