If you wandering what to use to polish watch by hand, have a look on this video may be it will help you. Don´t be afraid just go for it ( btw with polishing compound you can´t scratch mineral or sapphire glass at least i didn´t and i wasn´t that careful when doing it)

I really like the bead blast matte finish. Gives it a rugged and unique appearance. Without it, it's just another shiny watch. However, if it ever gets scratched up too much, I will do this and give it a second life.

Yes you can do it with any kind of watch even watch that has PVD coating on if you like the polished look

Great job man, however why didn you just go with the SNZG13 which comes polished and just change to the nato strap?

SNZG13 is brushed, not polished but closer, i just polished it for a change, was little bit bored with previous look

Can using that "mother's" polishing product for hairline scratches on a polished finished watch case help bring back the polished finish on a watch with hairline scratch??

hi, may i ask because the caseback of my seiko 5 have a single deep scratch though it's not noticeable since it is on the caseback, do you think it can be repaired? and how much do you think it will cost? just wondering if you have any idea :)

The case back is an easy replacement but it’s probably not worth to go change it out. Removing the scratch maybe a better option (if it’s metal it should be easy)

there are many busineses that are specialised in coating of different materials, it can be firearms, rims, etc, so i think to have black PVD coating on watch case will be easy to find sum1 in your area that can do it for you or search youtube there might be some home made technique

you can have a jeweler apply a light brushed finish with a small wire wheel.

It is easy, go to amazon and buy Mag and aluminium polish, brand is Mothers, as you can see my video, and than microfibre cloth, or any cloth, old t shirt or something to polish, and toothbrush or ear buds to put the stuff on, but to be honest, only thing you need is mothers polish and old t shirt and just work on it as showed in video and you will be fine, looks so much better polished

Mothers is a manufacturer of auto waxes and polishes. you can find their products at an auto supply store or on amazon
