Article 1section 2 Clause 2 Qualifications No Person shall be a Representative who shall not have attained to the Age of twenty five Years, and been seven Years a Citizen of the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an Inhabitant of that State in which he shall be chosen. You should have had to have lived in the state for at least a year to run rather than fake moving to the state for the election. In Alabama to be Governor you must be a state resident for at least seven years. Secretary of State? The residency requirement drops to five years. State Senate or House? You be a state resident for at least 3years. But U.S. Senate and House? One day of residency is all that’s required. That's how morons like Tuberville who lives in Florida gets to be Senator of Alabama.
