We lost our democracy yesterday on July 1 2024. That day will not be forgotten. I will not celebrate 4th of July anymore, the Constitution is no longer our law. The Supreme Court has done that. I lost my country yesterday and I no longer have to be faithful to my oath to a country that does not exist. Biden has to use this immunity rule to continue his presidency and get rid of the Supreme Court. He has exert this power for our democracy. Stop the elections in November we don't need them anymore. Declare yourself president for life with a named person to succeed you. Obey the new law. That is the only thing to save our democracy is by becoming a king. Get rid of Cannon. Biden needs to follow the new law. You can even put Trump in jail. He will put in jail if he becomes president. Hail to KING BIDEN

Personally, I've never understood why Supreme Court justices are appointed for life .... They have too much power to be appointed for life. It seems obvious to me that it would be a bad idea to do that. 10 years max.

Essentially, only the first count could be said to be a first time offence. What also needs to be taken into account was that this wasn't a one-off or spur-of-the-moment type thing. It was a long term plot and he signed numerous checks over a long period of time. It might also be taken into account that his company was sued for a huge long term fraud, so that shows that fraud was essentially a way of life for him rather than a deviation from good character.

Yes actually. He can do the same for the supreme court and any members of congress who go against him. That's why it's so scary. The majority spend a great deal of time expanding what would be considered official acts and cutting down the ability to use official acts as evidence that it leaves very little room for unofficial acts. The president is a king and if Joe Biden just decided to not leave office, he'd be within his right. The problem is that he will. He'll give this power to Trump knowing that Trump will abuse it. This may really be the last real election in the USA.

Since we’re not getting any of our other cases heard this year, I’m with you, I think if there were more than one guilty criminal case that came through this year the judge would consider that and lower his sentencing a bit since his wasn’t the only one.

What is interesting however, is that Biden has been given immunity until next January, and he doesn't want to use it. I believe his life lesson is to be challenged at some point to use this in order to save our democracy from a person with no conscious that will abuse it beyond repair.
