@@billygrey8087 lol you try keeping up with that dam dog. My dog runs around 35 mph, at least. She used to pull me on my skateboard about 28 mph. I slowed her down now and she goes about 20 because I'm not as young as I was. But still. And when she's loose she's ALOT faster the when she wss all out pulling me. I'd love to see you catch her. Not saying this bulldog was that fast but Jesus christ he was moving.

It's nice name but, as most non German speakers, they are using von wrong. "von" means "of". Imagine having a preposition as a first name. Edit: it can also mean "from" depending on the context.

@Todd m I also have a female she weights 75 lbs and is just ripped. I am 6'4" and made my bed 4' tall so its easier for me to get in and out and she clears it no problem from the sitting position it's quite the sight. When she walks she looks like spiderman climbing a wall and she is so blazing fast. I thank my Belgian malinois for keeping her in shape because she try's to keep up with her.

Amazing, how a bulldog should be. If you look at Rudy, the reason why he was able to move so fast and so effortlessly is because he isn't built as heavily/disproportionate as most bulldogs. But this is much healthier as this way he is putting less weight on his joints and has less obstructing his face when he breathes. If I saw more bulldogs like this I'd be a bigger fan of the breed

I think you'll like the Scott American bulldog. I had had one, and she was an athlete. She could hunt as well. Not all bulldogs are unhealthy, and some can still happily work.

Well said. I'd like to see some champion bullies from Westminster do half as well. We had 2 bulldogs over the course of 20 years and Both were high on their legs and Both lived to a ripe old age of 14 1/2 to 13 1/2 years respectively.

His form is great. I had an American Bulldog that was in perfect shape his whole life, he got to be 11 1/2 years old, won 10 gold medals and 1 bronze in as many contest. Now our family has frenchies, the cutest dog's in the world. Love from Denmark Rudy. 🤘

Poor choice of words on my part. By standards I did not mean AKC standards, but rather how most people think a bulldog should look. Too many people think a bulldog has to be overweight - and they love the wrinkles, so they overfeed their bulldogs. Plus lets be honest - they do love cookies and snacks and people food and are amazingly good at begging - if they were not trained to have better manners. The result is you rarely ever see an athletic bulldog here in the USA. But its not as unlikely as people think. Depends on the dog.

Yes we call them zoomies... Very short bursts of energy where the bulldog exerts an entire days worth of energy in about 2 minutes of complete insane running through the house.... Jumping up and down on the couch... Throwing toys in the air and catching them... until they are exhausted and then sleeps for another 23.5 hours to recharge for the next zoomies session.

You made bulldogs, their owners, and every bulldog lover so proud. Bulldogs won't go jogging for miles with you, but they can be tremendous athletes in the right situation. My bulldog flies out my back door like that to catch non-existent squirrels or unicorns or something. They're great sleepers, but they like to go crazy too. You have a new fan, Rudy.

So true. Only bulldog owners understand how agile they can be. My bully can literally jump straight up and lick my nose from a stand still position and I'm 6' ft tall. That takes a lot of power and they have it! :)

We had an English Bulldog named Maggie & people were always stunned at how athletic she was. They're like running backs, all muscle & power. We didn't do agility courses, just running around the back yard, but impressive nonetheless. Such incredible dogs.

You'd be amazed what you can train a bulldog to do. I used to own one with a complete set of tricks, speaking on command and obeying hand signals. Bulldogs will surprise you. Just have a pocket full of treats at all times.

A dog with the aerodynamics of a house-brick, but yet flew that course like he was shot out of a cannon. _I'm_ impressed, but my Dogue de Bordeaux just looked at me, farted, then ambled slowly towards his bed. _His_ classification of ''Agility'', is whether or not he can get his back leg high enough and keep it there for longer than 2 minutes, so he can wash his bits n pieces.

@@areswalker5647 god I wish I had that issue! My dog is stubborn as all get out. I tried to take him for a walk the other day and we made it 30 feet past the porch before he sat under a tree and refused to move. It took me 20 minutes to get him inside while it was raining.

@@brando3312 image if your dog wanted to play outside for hours no matter rain, snow, wind or blizzards and if you don't he'll just destroy your home, no care for the toys brought just for that reason😂 Btw it must be difficult to keep healthy a lazy pup, especially while aging so you have my respect. It'll be 3 Years in April that I lost mine and Im still crushed. She was almost 12 1/2 years old when I lost her . I held her in my arms and kissed her face as they put the needle in her . Any dog owner reading this please don't ever let them go through that alone . I know it's really really tough but you have to be there for them when they go. Lucy was such an angel I miss her dearly
