BUZZR TV will air a rarely seen 1966 episode of the game show PASSWORD, featuring Stephen Sondheim and Lee Remick as players, on Sunday, May 16 at 3pm ET. In the episode, which originally aired on Christmas in 1966, Sondheim plays special guest to his dear friend, Remick. Here's a clip of Sondheim absolutely dominating in this once "lost" episode, which hasn't been seen in more than 50 years.

Sondheim was the greatest. He’ll be sorely missed. May he rest in peace. ❤️

How on earth did he get "Etching"
@cokiishi

Because Remick is playing on the sexual undertones of the word in context. "Wanna come up and see my etchings?"

At first, I thought he found some kind of super anagram in it, but on second viewing I saw how Lee’s delivery was the clue. 😉

Back in the sixties the word "etching" was almost exclusively sexual. It still was talking about drawings but a basic pick-up line.

Because Meadows said sketch. That along with drawing and picture brought it home.

It'll be interesting to know who was the mystery eighth celebrity here. One source I've read says it was Joan Fontaine, but a newspaper source I've read says it was Pat Packard, Lee Remick's mother. The other celebrities were Peter Lawford, Audrey Meadows, Phyllis Newman, Otto Preminger, and Pierre Salinger.
