If people want to see other candidates in the general election, then they MUST vote in primaries. If they don't vote, they have no reason to complain about the choices before them. In any election, decisions are made by those who show up (with apologies to The West Wing).

I would ask Mr. Hogan if a 23 yr old foreign-born candidate should be allowed on the ballots so that the voters could decide? If we do away with one requirement for office, why not all of them and just leave it all up to the voters? The whole point of having requirements for a candidate is to assure we hopefully get decent and fit people to vote for.
