I'm an Ethiopian millennial, lawyer, and tech investor, born and raised in Europe, and I have visited Rwanda many times over the past 3-4 years. It's nothing short of a spectacular miracle; the place has undergone a turnaround that cannot be ignored. No place is perfect, but the way they have transformed, and simultaneously healed and continue to heal, is absolutely unprecedented in the 21st century. If you're a salty Congolese eating matoke and dont do anything else than creating TIkTok dancing videos in the diaspora, look at Kinshasa and the policies of that incompetent government before you start talking Fabrice. As a fellow African, we applaud, deeply respect, and honor H.E. Paul Kagame. I know in depth what this country has gone through, not only in 1994 but also pre-colonially, navigating through extreme volatility and hatred in a region that is not easy for pastoralist overall. To see this level of organization, law and order, and progress brings tears to my eyes. Just look at them; this country is moving nowhere but forward. The vast majority of the population has endured enough pain and is extremely protective of their peace and vision for the future. As an investor and friend of this country, we Ethiopians who are affluent in Europe and the US will continue to support and invest millions upon millions in the people of Rwanda, just as we are investing in our own country back home in Addis Ababa.
