You’re absolutely correct but we had a previous president who brought us full employment at 33.3% with black unemployment at historically low levels. Even the Wall Street Journal had to report that lower and middle income Americans were receiving a higher percentage of wage increase than upper class Americans. The non-partisan and independent EIA also reported at that time that America was the leading producer of energy and America was energy. Independent. At the end of the previous administration, America was moving forward with an 8% rate of growth and 1.4% rate of inflation. We had so much hope for Joe and his new administration, but we now see nothing but riots, lawlessness, any economy with record, inflation, and rioting going on at our major colleges.

The national debt has risen by almost $7.8 trillion during Trump’s time in office. That’s nearly twice as much as what Americans owe on student loans, car loans, credit cards and every other type of debt other than mortgages, combined, according to data from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. It amounts to about $23,500 in new federal debt for every person in the country. Trump had the third-biggest primary deficit growth, 5.2% of GDP, behind only George W. Bush (11.7%) and Abraham Lincoln (9.4%).

We saw Trump in 4 years: 1. created chaos at NATO 2. added almost $ 8 trillion to the National Debt after inheriting a booming economy from the Obama administration, when he should have been paying down the debt, LIKE HE PROMISED! 3. mishandled the pandemic to the point where he has proved to be responsible for the death of more than half a million Americans 4. caused the loss of millions of jobs 5. left the USA in a deep recession, just as the previous republican administration did 6. incited an insurrection and planned a coup in an attempt to overturn an election and overthrow the rule of law and our great democratic republic 7. refused to concede and allow the peaceful transition of power one of the basic tenets of our republic. Thank God Biden is president!

Oh Don Lemon -- you and we all are now seeing more and more what kind of misunderstandings and educational traps (missing the nuances) it is which keep some voters voting on Trump. I am far better off now than 5 years ago. More money to spend. We have a President who will fight for women's rights. We have a President now who wants to pay for infrastructure repairs (we have some great road work being done in Iowa), we have a President who supports other countries' fights for freedom. Actually, gas prices are down, I'm noticing lots of sales in stores, and stock market (my 401 K) is up. Oh, and our unemployment is under 4%....Anyone who wants a job, probably has one.
