This beaver chewing on a tree was filmed in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on December 2, 2020. If you want to see the tree fall, watch the video in the link: • Beaver Chews down tree...
You know how people have had to learn how to cut trees down safely. So much can happen when we are trimming trees. But beavers just instinctively know how to do it without any trouble at all! It's such an amazing feat.
Hi Mike! Another wonderful contribution to the library. I look forward to each new installment. Incidentally, Your description notes this video was filmed four months in the future, not 18 months in the past. Though if anyone would brave the dangers of time travel for prime videos of beavers living their best lives, it'd be you!
Thanks Mark. I have corrected the date. But now I am going to spend all day wishing I could time travel and wondering when and where I would go. Glad you are enjoying my videos. Cheers!
Personally I think Capybaras are way too overrated, for essentially being nothing more than a hairy chair for other animals to sit on. Beavers are multifaceted, multitasking masters of forestry and civil engineering. I don't see how a Capybara can compare to any of that.
Extraordinary and gripping video (and the other one where the tree falls 😲). You must have been so happy to get this footage from beginning to end 😀 🎬 . I love watching it and marvelling at how methodically Chewbarka carries out this task. But more than that, I am wondering to myself, constantly, 'how does he *know* how to do it, and what to listen out for'?! 🤔 Truly nature's engineer 👨🔧 👷♀️ 💕👍
