You don't need to replace the tpms sensor, just the kit. The kit is usually a seperate stem or just the hardware holding the stem in place depending in year, make, and model.

I bought 4 lexani tires for my 350z, under $450. Can’t go wrong. They grip nice when I want them to and they drift nice 👌🏻

Great video! Had to sub after this one as a tire guy this was a very well made and people that watch this can make my job that much easier! I I will say though, direct style TPM sensors generally have a lifespan of about 7-10 years before needing to be replaced on average. When buying tires you should always replace seals with a rebuild kit or replace the stem with a rebuild kit depending on the sensor but you don’t necessarily have to drop a bunch of money on sensors every time you buy tires. It can be ~$50-$100 per corner just for sensors and being that there’s tires out there for less than $100 per corner, I wouldn’t want someone to come in thinking they need to pay the cost of 2 sets of tires every time they need tires type of thing. But yes anytime tires are done 100% use a rebuild kit and if you’re getting new wheels and want to keep the old ones, you’ll need new sensors.

I bought my car brand new less than 100 miles 2019 Tucson AWD It has Michelin Primacy A/S tires on it, I’ve currently driven the car 43K miles because i use it a lot for work. I always rotated them and I used them for 43K miles and it’s about time I change them now

I really hope someone reads this. You should not be changing your TPMS sensors. Those are expensive to buy and to program. Do buy new valve stems with a new set of tires. And move the sensor to the new valve stems.

Just so you guys know I’m a manager at America’s tire you don’t need to replace them every time you change your tires that’s crazy. They last 6-8 years don’t waste money. You guys and your race cars will probably go through 3 sets before the battery dies. Party on

Firestone Indy 500's. For the price you can't beat them. Good in the wet and decent dry grip. Wear rate is decent and they aren't expensive.

Continental dws are some very high quality tires loved the set I had did well in ny winter

Everything said is true except the TPMS Sensors, you do not have to replace the sensors everytime you replace them. That could get very expensive, especially with lower treadwear tires and is unnecessary if you get decent quality sensors or vehicle specific sensors. I work at a tire company and I've seen people's sensors last up to 15 years. Don't replace them until the battery dies or they start to malfunction. Good tip is to have them scanned every rotate to check up on their health. Great vid nonetheless, I have Continentals DWS06's on my STI, great all around tires.

don’t need to replace the sensor, just the rubber grommets and the nut usually. or replace the valve stem on the ones without a fixed stem attached to to the sensor.

When you don't have money I usually go for all purpose long life tires. Can't afford turbos and exhausts and all that so no need for 150 a pop tires

Before watching this video I had previous knowledge of what the aspect ratio is so I already knew what he was talking about, not sure if this was just me but when you were talking about it I didnt really grasp what was said, i do think you could have slowed down a little to help the people that don't know about it understand better. Overall great video though.

I would have mentioned: "Low profile tires have a greater risk of bending a rim. If you know the roads where you live are full of potholes don't fit the skinniest, band-aid tires you can find. 'You' don't want to replace your front, driver's side rim every 2 months, and 'I' don't want you to replace your front, driver's side rim every 2 months. Just keep in mind your typical road conditions when looking at potential aspect ratios."

nobody has the fitment i want for the s14 :( 18x9.5 +12 with 275/40/18 with -1 or 0 camber with 50mm rears

It’s best not to deviate too much (or at all) from the diameter of the OEM tires, cause I used a bit taller tires and things felt wrong - gearing, acceleration, torque, they all felt wrong 😑

Pirelli Pzero pz4s are best for daily drivers

There should be a disclaimer on the fitment industries gallery saying not to use it as a guide to fit wheels and tires. More often then not, information like offsets and wheel widths are very inaccurate and is not regulated or verified whatsover. If you see a fitment you like, double check it through forums or other means first.
