My cousin studies CS at Ryerson! It's a great program if you are looking to study CS but also want to be in a less competitive and stressful environment.
I wanted to know is it easy to make friends since the campus isnt a conventional uni campus as far as i know and as a prospective international student im worried people will be too much in their own bubble to be friends in the city
For the film program did you have to pay for your non academic submission to be reviewed? It said that on the website but it didn’t say any required payments in my choose-Ryerson site
I'm not too knowledgeable in Master's programs, but a friend of mine who recently finished her bachelors at Ted Rogers, is considering applying back for an MBA. Plus, if you're interested in Finance, Toronto is the place to be!
hey! I'm thinking of applying for that program as well and did you manage to find what were people's opinion about the msc in management program? Please do let me know and thank you :)
I know someone doing a MSc in Biology at Ryerson, but not in EE. It may be easier to get into than other school, so that could be a bonus if that's what you're looking at!
Hey bestie~can you please help me out? Does overall score matter to get admission there? If I have excellent scores in my last two years, would that be enough? And is it hard to get into Ryerson?
I have a friend that considered it. She isn't at the stage of applying yet because you need experience in the field, but she did consider for a reason!
Hello Manik ! have you considered Ryerson for MBA , got an admit yesterday. However, I am not sure about job opportunities , maybe we can connect if you have considered ?
She brought up no bad points about the university... Apart from "it lucks parties".. and thats not even a bad point. I went to ryerson its not that perfect. She didnt talk about proffs and how they structure their lectures. This video was almost an advertisement for university with no bad points. Come on
Hey! Remember this is from my POV and I can only speak on behalf of my own experience.. You may have your own view but this was mine. I never touched upon profs or the "structure of their lectures" because I myself have never had a bad experience with that. I'm sure there's lots of other videos that can relate to your POV.
@@kyryll I touched upon the program I’m in and I discussed what my program entails. I can only speak on behalf of my experience and I do recall mentioning that the profs I have had are well rounded and knowledgeable. Sorry you didn’t find you we’re looking for but thanks for checking out the video anyway! There’s plenty of other ryerson videos you could view on RU-vid that could be more fitting for YOU and your needs. Goodnight.
@@trinitywong9243 again not a word on lectures Wich is the foundation of uni education. When you make a video titled watch this before going to Ryerson university I think you should cover more fundamental and important aspects of it.
@@kyryll Why are you being so negative? She's simply sharing all of her experiences how are you going to correct her on HER OWN good Ryerson experience. Just because you had a bad time doesn't mean she did. Nobody forced you to watch this video.
I'm so sorry, but the series is done. I am still posting videos weekly! I've shared some back to school tips, as well done more casual and entertaining type videos such as a day in the life and a tiktok reaction vid AHAH. More student content will come as school returns in Sept!
Is Ryerson Cs stressful? Like what’s the environment like for Cs. Is it too competitive or is it just chill? And can you tell me if i could get it with an 85 average? I am an international student and i have good 10th,11th marks 90>
I'm so sorry, but my series is finished, at least for the time being. I am still posting student-related content so check out my recent uploads and stay tuned for future vids as school is quickly approaching!
Unfortunately, the series is now over but I'm still posting academic content! I just started my fall semester at Harvard, so subscribe to keep up with my journey. I have lots of study tips and vlogs coming. My first day of class vid is up already, so check it out :)
The professors will definitely be knowledgeable in their field! As for social life, Ryerson has a reputation for being less social... however it's completely what you make of it!
Unfortunately, neither Trinity or myself knows much about that course. I'd recommend checking out the course info on Ryerson's website for detailed info!
The campus is smaller than average and because it's a city university, you don't have that "campus feel". But on the plus side, you're in the heart of Toronto
You're GPA is on the lower side, but if your ECs are good or you can show that you're able to research well, that may make your application more competitive. Good luck!
You want to be looking at the course scheme and see if the modules are interesting to you! That's how you'll know if a particular school is where you want to pursue your Doctorate
I've heard good things about journalism at Ryerson! Not many schools offer the program, so it's worth looking into. Also, what better place to study journalism then in one of the biggest cities in the world and with offices such as the Toronto Star in walking distance!
Ryerson is a young university and as a result, it hasn't had a lot of time to create a name for itself, but that doesn't mean you won't get a good education. Also, keep in mind that Ryerson is a smaller school and that plays a factor in rankings.
@@NathanWu Thanks so much for replying Nathan. I looked up at a few blogs and looked at some reviews and it does seem to be a good place for Social Work. I just don't know why some people tend to think that RU is too low on the Uni ratings
