I think ebikes definitely have there place for like older or out of shape people to actually get out and enjoy bicycles. A way for people also to assist them to actually get into better shape without the fear of making it back home.

(first time watching this channel) Is that bike completely unstable or the driver has balance difficulties? During the riding part the bike seems extremely unstable.
E-bikes are the wave lol but Scott I think I speak for all of us when I say I think you should do a podcast. A podcast similar to gypsy tails but for bmx, mtb etc!

Jist converted a mountain buke to a middrive and LOVE it. 910wh battery and 1000w motor with torque sensor. BUT this bike fills a nice niche. Slick looking, low profile too. Love the weight

I have a bike that I'm no longer able to ride due to injury too. Its not in the best condition, it's a downhill bike/freebie bike. Lives in my bedroom now. If those lose money fast....E bikes will too. They are too new to hold value. Technology will change faster than you can save for a new one lol I'd wait another 10 years.
Don't rely on e-bikes for strengthening your legs. Conventional pedaling is the way to go. I had an e-bike and it made me lazy, and not ride my road hybrid. E-bike was fun for a bit, but I got bored, and I got no exercise out it.
depends on the ebike some of them are crazy lazy but a lot of the higher end trailbikes like trek giant have pedal assist only and walk mode to walk with it but you can make it so it applies little assistance to a lot. I just sold mine i had a haibike full seven and on lowest mode it was a workout going up hills but you put in turbo and peddling can flip ya right over. you need a bike with assist only and no throttle.
