In this video, I want to share some examples of mistakes made by ChatGPT and explain why it's important to be cautious when using ChatGPT-generated content.
First, I'll show you how ChatGPT can provide incorrect or misleading information, even when it seems highly relevant to your research topic. I'll give an example of how I asked a new ChatGPT research chat for recent research articles on a specific topic, only to find out that many of the articles it recommended did not even exist! This can be a major problem if you rely on ChatGPT-generated content without double-checking its sources.
Secondly, I'll explain why ChatGPT is not a replacement for you as a researcher, and why you should always broaden your field of knowledge beyond what ChatGPT suggests. ChatGPT can be a useful starting point for your research, but it can never replace the critical thinking, creativity, and expertise that you bring to the table.
Finally, I'll share some advice for using ChatGPT effectively and safely in your research projects. I'll explain how to double-check ChatGPT-generated content, how to avoid relying too heavily on ChatGPT, and how to use other resources to supplement your research. If you're a researcher who's just getting started with ChatGPT, or who's interested in using it more effectively, this video is for you!
So if you're curious about the risks and benefits of using ChatGPT for research, or if you're looking for advice on how to use ChatGPT more effectively, be sure to watch this video. And if you find it helpful, please like, comment, and subscribe for more videos like this!

He creates itself, that's why we can't find a paper. He just uses his own data to generate information, talk about your topic. Because he can't broser the internet, so he use this method to respond on your question in easy way without verification.

This malfunctioning calls "hallucination"; CHATGPT never leaves a question without an answer, so it invented. None of the citations works for me in my field (chemistry pollution), using this AI; maybe sharing the file through drive or sharepoint works sometimes.

It's not an AI just a language model. AI is used as a buzz word for marketing. Its a misnomer.
@nark4837
@nark4837 Год назад
@@lipin007 It isn't a misnomer, it is just more precise to describe it as a large language model. It is still an "AI" in the sense that a GPT model is still a form of an ML model, and ML is just a form of AI, so essentially, yes it is an AI, just using very basic terminology.

@@lipin007 Nothing about it is a lie, AI is not a misnomer, it is a form of AI and that is a fact. It is however fair to say that "AI" does not do the GPT-architecture justice.

The people you make videos for are mature enough. Moreover, you lecture in a very formal and beautiful manner. That's why it is not appropriate to give such a thumbnail. You can use thumbnail like previous video if you want.

chatgpt doesn't access the internet. And it lies. They warn that on the front page.
