I’m leaving on Monday for 2 weeks. It’s my first time solo travelling so this was a really helpful video! I had already done quite a bit of research but I still learned some new things from your experience. Looks like you had a great time there!
@@nmah19 Psyched you picked up new things from the video. Enjoy the trip - Mexico City is such a dope place to visit and live in. If you get to come back and share what you liked most, I'll update the guide to make sure it continues to have great recs. Hope the trip is spectacular - Buen viaje ✈️
My place of both is México city. My parents migrated to the US when I was only three months old I’m 39 years old and finally I decided to go back in two day from now. 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽
@@JerryRegistre Your emotional connection to the city and to the experiences you had were conveyed so well. It made me even more excited to go. Thanks Jerry!
I like to think of chilaquiles as breakfast nachos. I live in Montreal, Canada and chilaquiles are not common in Mexican restaurants here so whenever im in Mexico that's my go to breakfast. Reccs for CDMX: mi compa chava (best seafood tacos I've had and the drinks were A1, the manager helped me order and was such a sweet lady), entremar, and tacos Jalisco (steps from panaderia rosette, you'll know which cart it is once you get here) . Can't wait to go back such a walkable city with nice people.
This was an awesome video. One of my dream places to visit is Mexico City. I’d also like to get to a C3 Spanish speaking level. I’ve tested at a C1 level on some free Spanish level tests. I look forward to using mostly Spanish and eating awesome tacos when I finally visit there. I think I’ve seen your videos on Tik Tok on celebrities in the US who speak Spanish.
Glad you liked it 🙏🏽 I’d learn Spanish just to go to Mexico city alone 😂 with how great that city is. Good luck with the Spanish C2! I just took the exam a few months ago
Yo bro, just came back from CDMX and THANK YOU FOR THIS VID ! I always saw the experiences tab on airbnb and never thought to try it til then-and for $80 I had one of the most memorable nights of my life! We had endless beers, made masks, and went to a lucha libre fight and it’s all thanks to your tips man ! Preciate you all the way bro bro
Let’s go! 🙌🏽 It’s definitely a hidden gem, but travel has become 10x better since I started using it. The soccer game and sailboat experiences were also sick if you ever get to go back. Glad it was a good time bro 🙌🏽
What great content! Very informative but what I like most about this video is that you are to the POINT and you don't waste the viewers' time with "fillers". I really appreciate that. Keep up the good work, sir.
Makes me happy to hear that. I’ve gotten to travel a decent bit and this was one of the best trips I’ve done, so I hoped that sharing my experience and recs would make the trip planning easier for some. I have more recommendations for food, things to do, and other guides in the written version in the description if you’re looking for more. Enjoy the trip to the fullest and let us know how it went 🙌🏽✈️
Great video. I thought I was the only one that liked slow travel. I learned Spanish in Spain and I speak it friendly now, so I LOVE getting to know the chilangos, Oaxaqueños etc. I'm about to return to CDMX in two weeks and cant wait!
Thanks for sharing your experiences! I was in a doubt where to go on my next vacay, now I am really willing to go to Mex! I am too used to travel solo, and your recommendations couldn't be more accurate.. Great video! 😊
Solo travel is so nice when it’s done right, isn’t it? I’m glad you got something out of the video. Let us know what you enjoyed if you end up going 🙌🏽
You are welcome 🤗 I’m going to CDMX on Saturday and leaving Thursday going to the Yucatan. I look forward to watching more of your travels. I may blog my experience as well!
@@erikacooper4707 I spent less than that per day 😂 so you should be good. But everything is more expensive in Polanco/Roma Norte/Condesa, so I'd recommend eating in local neighborhoods outside of these zones for cheaper but still fantastic eats
Excellent video, amazing for sharing how you immersed yourself in the city! I like how you explained trying out different activities, and all of the info. on foods & restaurants. Now I will watch the rest! Keep up with the great youtubes!
I enjoyed your video and tips. I especially liked the app recommendations. I will visit your written guide next. I plan to visit Mexico City within the month. I need to decide how long I will stay before heading further south to Colombia for a few more months.
Wishing you the best for the trip. If you’re passing through to do activities and see sights, two weeks felt like a good minimum. But if you’re into the diving deep, learning the language, meeting people, embedding into the culture like I was, I wanted to stay for 2 months at least. Maybe find a local rafting group 😆 Suerte con el viaje.
Glad you liked it! I spent 2 weeks which felt good, but I wouldn’t have minded staying another few weeks. I’m from NY, so the energy felt perfect for me. I met some travelers who ended up staying for 2-5 months and enjoyed it
Thrilled you enjoyed the video :) And I hope you have a great time on your visit. Re: Superprof.mx fees, I remember browsing through the platform to find teachers I was interested in for free. But then I paid a monthly fee to send messages to teachers. I got replied back within a day or two and was able to find a teacher, so I cancelled the monthly that week to only pay it once. Hope this helps 🙌🏽
Thanks for the video! I am curious about one thing: you mention that you are studying Spanish, and that you studied for a while in Spain. How different do you find Mexican vs Castillian Spanish? Other than a few differences, is it mostly the same? Or if I want to learn a bit of Spanish for Mexico, would studying it from resources in Spain put me completely off base?
God loves you so much that He sent His Holy Son Jesus from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins, and to be put into a tomb 3 days and rise from the dead the third day, and He (Jesus) went back up to heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, & unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, & immoral persons & sorcerers ----&---- idolaters & all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus & put your true faith and trust in Him today and please repent. Will you have a Real encounter with Holy Lord Jesus and stay in a Genuine relationship with Him daily please?
