Vaquero is a horse mounted livestock herder. What kawasaki was implying was Doma vaquera, the Spanish tradition of the "working rider." Which is what kawasaki believes the market for the Vaquero is for, the working man, on a normal budget, instead of the steeper price of the traditional Harley. But Doma vaquera doesn't come off the tongue as easy as just saying Vaquero.

That bike is everything I would ever want to grow into as a forever bike, but after doing so much research of opinion there is no such thing as a forever bike until you're sure it'd your last, I guess ? That SUCKS that the screen doesn't work because it looks SO cool, so I guarantee the present owner has it working. AWESOME BIKES.
I bought a brand new 21' this year ( 22'). First bagger I've ever had, and I like it. Already put over 950mi on it, no hi-way pegs, no driver backrest, but I did buy the backrest/luggage rack & the power outlet for the fairing. Never had a driver's backrest, I'm only 5'7" tall, and it's really comfortable as is. Did change the windshield though, made it a little taller, helped w/the buffeting on the hi-way. Been riding a 79' KZ1000 ST for years w/only a sport fairing that I added. Still love the KZ, but the Vaquero is gaining ground, especially riding on cheesegrater pavement since they've been redoing my local hi-way for the past month. And the beast just ROLLS on the Interstate. Not as smooth as my 79' GL1000 w/the Vetter fairing, but more balls to it. Just need to work out the windshield height, maybe an ECU mod to make it smoother, more power. I've seen a few videos of people who do that for this bike. Tempted because, as I said, I rode the KZ for years.😉😁
I've never been a fan of the front fairing on touring bikes. But I absolutely love the vaquero, and the new indian touring bikes. I have an 07 vulcan mean streak 1600, I love it. I'm glad willie g is out of harley davidson so they can finally catch up with the rest of the world. The sportster S is a slap in his face for holding the company back for all these years
I have the 1600 Nomad, but I would really like to have the vaquero. The overdrive gear and cruise control would make some of my trips, I like to take, a much more pleasant experience.
If I ever graduate to a touring bike, these are high on my list. The aesthetics of a Street Glide for a fraction of the price, yet seems to be better made.
I love my vaquero..The one thing i wish was better on it is the stereo system..I wish it had bluetooth..I guess it can be upgraded but its just annoying..Kawi needs to put some money into an upgrade..

My only thing with reclining that far back is you can’t see the road well over the fairing...at least from the looks of it on the video. You can’t see obstacles in the road. Those grips are awesome.
A little late to reply but I can see easily over my wind screen and in fact that is considering I bought an aftermarket one which is taller than stock. My view is still over the top of the wind screen. However, I am 6' tall so possible a shorter may not see over it, I'm not sure but even when I slouch some I my view is still over the windscreen.

Hence the term "Clickbait". I IMMEDIATELY wondered what was wrong with the bike the second I saw the title. it's the very definition of clickbait. I downvoted it specifically because of this.
One of the most comfortable and long lasting motorcycles out there... compared to price, handling, and no vibration it’s top-notch. I own a 2016 vaquero myself It handles very perfectly I recommend people buying it because it’s a lot cheaper than Harley and definitely last longer.
What grips were those? I have some kuryaken ISO that look like those. I like mine over stock; they take the vibes out. I might go to the Avon Air after, a bit smaller diameter.

I wish I never bought my 2015 vaquero! It's such a pile of shit my rotors are totally warped with only 10,000 miles on my bike along with a issue where out of nowhere it looses power or runs like it's only on 1 cylinder and the idle goes up and down on it's own ! The dealer has no clue why it does it I'm selling it asap .
Soooo more info on the bike okay 👌🏼 that would be nice. Just like words of wisdom INFO PLEASE !!!! You have a great platform to sell bikes... sell the bike be more professional
Downvoted for a VERY clickbait and misleading video title, and downvoted because you put up a 2013 Vaquero ... two months ago... in 2018, almost 2019. Why on god's green earth would ANYONE thinking of buying a new bike have ANY reason whatsoever to even watch 10 seconds of this video?
