Watch this before you buy a Wolf Watch Winder 1 

Dear Robin, Thank you so much for this eye opening video. I was planning to buy a very expensive safe from Wolf 1834. I had sent them an email about nine days back and till date, I have not receive any reply from them. Your broken watch winder is made in China, instead, it should have been made in Germany or UK. Thanks. I suspected cheap quality, but not to this level. I just grabbed a Prime Days sale on the ORYX Vision 6 watch winder. Even at regular price, it is less than one tenth the cost of the Wolf Roadster that it knocks off. Hopefully at least four of the motors will last out to five years.

Wow the internals look like my affordable Chiyoda watch winder from Amazon. Only difference is I'm able to replace the motors on mine without ripping the whole thing apart. 5 years later (with a motor replacement) my Chiyoda is still working! 😊

I was looking for a watchwinder and JOMASHOP had a Lucien Piccard cheapo automatic with a FREE watchwinder listed at $99. The watchwinder works, it's quiet and it has several functions built in. Plus the watch is an auto with hand winding. It's ugly AF but I plan on using it to learn watch repair anyways. Thanks for the vid! If I spend money on another winder, I'll make sure it;s at least made of particle board! :)

I've received SO many counterfeit items off of Amazon. Wondering about the authenticity of this winder.

I’ve been down the cheap route, 1 year in and it packed up.. Not only that but it also made a racket when operating... I’m not saying the wolf Heritage is worth anywhere near 300 plus bucks but it is at least quiet, that and they do tend to last quite a few years for most consumers.. I’m lucky, I’m in the U.K. and get 2 years anyway with no need to pay for postage.. Outside this time, I need only demonstrate it failed through bad design or materials, which is around £20-30 from an engineer.. If they don’t honour to repair the unit or replace it, it’s a magistrate’s court.. I’ll will guarantee you, they wouldn’t dare turn up..

All watch winders are cheaply made accept the very expensive ones. I suspect many on Amazon are assembled in China using Japanese motors. By advice of spend as little as possible and treat it as a disposal item when it stops.
