If you guy it out securely this tent can take a battering, point one of the ends into the wind, the end can get squashed down in high winds but a couple of trekking poles to guy off of can solve this , I consider it a 4 season tent for the UK, it runs warm compared to most tents and and doesn't really need a footprint either, one of the bargain tents many people miss. You can also get the inner and flysheet in the same bag and save a bit of weight, these OEX tents are generally bombproof.

I always clip the flysheet under the inner poles then tighten up the straps is much easier especially if its wet.

Got mine for just £69 on sale, figured it's worth it even as a spare or loaner. Bulkier and heavier than I like for solo use but found the inner and fly will compress even more than you showed, so it packs alright with the poles stowed in an outer pocket. I thought the zipped door vents are a neat idea, handy for adjusting to varying temperature and humidity. Same as you, I found all the zips worked smoothly, good manufacturing quality overall in fact. Only real flaw is the pole structure forms the roof such that water can pool. A small rib pole across the top would help runoff, and could add attachment points to take up some of the inner's sag. The ends of the fly could do with pegging points too as it doesn't separate well from the inner.

I bought this Tent a while ago now. I needed to make several modifications to make Good/Usable.. such as means to pull out and stake the Fly at the ends, to keep off Inner, Larger Door Fixing Toggles, etc. (I did pick it up Super Cheap, end-of-Season Deal' though) Be aware if considering this one 😉

The bag it is rubbish. But the two inside have straps that fit the OeX rucksack so you can carry it either side apparently, haven't tried use karrimor.

Brilliant tent. Jut picked up an Expedition Tarp for 35 quid to go with it. You won't be disappointed when you get out in it.
