Watch this before you buy the Airtel pocket Wifi || Unboxing/review 

This product is not useless at all, it depends on the way you use it, you need to know how to modify your phone settings so that your phone will not be consuming your data in the background, there are some modification setting on your phone that will make your phone use your data and waste it even when you are not using it at all, and again there are some applications that play videos automatically, for example like Facebook, some site and launchers are loaded with advertisements especially with videos, all these will surely wast you data if you don't how to disable them, I'm using this same product and it serve me very well and it has never waste my data in any form because I know how to disable every advertisement and auto play videos on my phone, I assure you that even 5 MB as never waste from my data without me knowing about it, to those who wish to purchase it go ahead and purchase it, the product is sensitive and it makes sense.

Lol. It's a personal review though. Connecting your phone to a MiFi , if you don't adjust the settings, would update a lot of apps in the background hence consuming more data. You have to modify the setting of your frequently used apps for a more data friendly usage

Please how can you check your balance when the sim is in the wifi, or read messages.

Set you wifi on ur phone or system to metered

It consumes data a lot because it work fast including it referred your phone background; if you do not off your application update it will automatically update everything and your data will be finishing fast try the off background refresh in your phone and computer

The battery stays longer than the normal Mifi, it picks network in places where one would naturally get a low or shaky network, the airtel customer agent who helped get it told me each Mifi vary, as some even get hot during usage and some other faults

Nice videos, do you still use the device... also why do you choose to use it despite the draw backs... do you carry it around on daily basis? If you were to sub data on your phone, do you think you will spend 20k? Just asking, so i can judge from your experience before buying it. Are you downloading or uploading video 10 hours a day? I just have 1 phone and a laptop i use once a while. So would like to know the benefit of using a mifi

My question is What's the difference between it's network and phone's network in terms of strongness and stability

Madam know fall in their hand still ask again airtel and mtn the do not have real unlimited data plan is not a real unlimited data plan is fake you can finish that unlimited data anytime is a big plan but depending on how you use it is not Actually unlimited ; it can finish before that time

The MTN Broadband MiFi is useless as well. I think that one cost about 7k or something currently. If you’re considering getting it thinking the network is faster, Do Not. It consumes data fast and the network isnt reliable. A total waste of money.

before you conclude about the data consumption check your apps data usage. do you have apps that auto update?

Normally Airtel data started draining like water from 2014.... Their rate is too much... The only reason I like it is cos it's fast never the less that's not a ticket to run sprint on people's data

The WPS button is used to connect to a device easier without entering the wifi password. For data consumption your connecting device(s) may have some apps on auto-update.
