everyone who bought this game just for this Mod please refund it immediately and have them feel it where it matters most, their wallets. They had no reason to do this we actually had to buy their trash game to even have access to the Mod and not even because of that they left it alone, activision is so pathetic
That would really suck if Activision is just waiting for the mod to come out, people to buy and play past the MWR refund period, then sending the C&D and keeping everyone's money. Edit: Activision shut it down....

As long as this mod makes it to release day, it doesn't matter if it's hit with a C&D. A C&D just means that the devs can't update the launcher anymore, but we can play on, as proven with iw4x & other banned clients. SM2 failed because it was hit with one before release

I am looking to play with BOTS. Is it possible to play with bots offline in MWR just like MW 2019? Also is MW 2019 (IW8X client) safe? I only downloaded it to play with bots.

One thing to note for those who are concerned that this might get C & D'd: Plutonium is a mod for Black Ops 1/2, World at War, and Modern Warfare 3, and it's still around despite others having been hit by Activision. The big reason is that Plutonium is not actively advertising pirated copies of the games the mod works for. On top of that, H2M is not making the mistake sm2 devs made of taking donations. You have to own a copy of any of those games in order to use it, and the devs aren't making money off of this. The big thing to me, (emphasis on my perspective) seems to be that Activision only goes after these if piracy is involved in the process and the mod developers are making income off assests they don't own. I'm not saying nothing will happen with H2M here, but the fact they require you to have a legal, officially obtained copy in order to use the mod AND the devs are providing this with no money being made is a difference maker.
Ya most of the Treyarch games openly support mods, WAW, Blops1, and Blops3 all have official mod tools, so they seem to be ok with mods, as long as they aren't like a free client that doesn't require purchase of any cod game.

Bro, MWR was my game back in 2016-2017. I remember coming home from school, ignoring my homework, and then straight up grinding the game for hours on end. This CoD is definitely in my top 3. Most underrated CoD ever released.
Activision "shouldn't" have a issue with this BECAUSE you NEED to buy MWR. So they are making more sales. I truly hope this will make some conversations or a manager or boss or share/stock holder or SOMEONE to bring up the question, "why didnt we make this?". And more discussion or sbmm. I was playing ground war and we were in pregame lobby checkerboard screen popped up and said “get rced by meow” and it crashes your game. Happen to anyone else? Is this just a scare tactic and they can just freeze the servers game? I scanned everything on my pc seems to be all good
I think thats just the hacker sending packets to your game, just apart of a crash tool. it seems like a scare tactic because the exact same guy sent a "host migration" packet to my pc on infinite warfare. Ran a malware bytes scan, nothing came up. If you notice things are seriously different with your pc like a different desktop image or tabs being opened up, you not having control of your mouse etc, then factory reset your pc
Okay, So something that Rxqe didnt mention but will mention on his H2M video is If you are having issues with not being able to go into fullscreen or not able to look up because your mouse is frozen on the top left of your screen What i did is I uninstalled GoXLR (That may not be necessary for other) But i also heard unplugging their headphones and microphone (If they are USB) also fixed it (For some reason) But what i did was that seemed to fix it is disabling every single audio and microphone properties i had in the Settings --> System --> Sounds and disabling everything there manually BESIDES the main ones you use for your audio and microphone

When you launch multiplayer the first time and the download bar shows up, hit Cancel twice. I made the mistake of hitting cancel then continue looping it
@@crackthedraco4459Long as it makes it to download day I personally couldn’t care less. Everything they shut down I still have installed and play basically every day ranking up offline against bots. IW4X, BOIII client, I’ve got em all on a Steam Deck that I never connect to the internet along with all the mods I like to use. I was just playing zombies mod on IW4X before I got my dinner tonight. Long as this makes it to download day I’ll be playing H2M for years to come whether they shut it down or not. Shutting it down doesn’t mean they’re gonna come to your house and make you uninstall it lmao.

I am absolutely scared of the C&D part. I remember the SM² team would constantly insist on how "we're 1000% safe from lawyers bro trust us" to the point that it got a little bit... arrogant, dare I say? Still, the reaper came for them nonetheless despite all the claims. Something like H2M is what I've been craving for 6 years and MWR is amazing, I want both to succeed so much.
Activision has proved that if somebody trying to use any of there stuff, they want compensation. They have shown how they act with stuff like this so even if it's legal, they gonna try to shut this down if it pulls player base from them.
Fallout London too. I'm 30 hours into that. The two games I play the most this year will probably be fan made mods because the official developers are incompetent. That's nuts.
People saying its getting taking down, once the exe is released it wont matter just like iw4x s1x and ghost servers were still up after they got taken down so even if this were to get taken down the mod is still out there
Mwr was my bread and butter when infinite warfare dropped. I miss the old lobbies and the game itself was such a fresh revamp, melee weapons, kits, reticles, ugh we had the craziest games back in the day
One main point for the downfall of SM2 was also that they were taking in donations for the project. Everytime money gets included, things become more complicated.
I"m getting a problem in MWR multiplayer where when I launch it, it just automatically tries to load the shaders and then freezes. Already gone in MWR campaign and changed all the settings, looks like they don't carry over to the multiplayer side. Been all over reddit but I can't find one single person that is having the same issue as me.
I can’t fuckin wait for this man. The only reason I can think of them hitting this project, is if they were going to actually officially release their mw2 remaster. Which yeah.. highly doubtful that’ll happen lol. Still blows my mind that they didn’t when they supposedly had it ready…

By the way, is there a console or something similar in H2M to set a custom sensitivity? The first one in the MWR original is very slow for me and the second one is very fast 😂
@Siwy65915 couldn't tell ya, but in my years of PC gaming, I've never had a single issue with running custom apps. The only thing that happens is that windows defender will block it originally, because it's a tool that wasn't signed by Microsoft ... but just hit "run anyways" and you're good to go
I think a C&D will happen, and the only reason I say that is H2M uses Activision prefabs/assets and it also unlocks DLC's/Maps that were made for another game (Eg MW2 OG)
I've been having so much fun playing MWR. Even if H2M gets taken down, i got my 20$ worth just playing MWR with low level players, like back in the day when COD4 first released.
Do you think they'll include decimals for choosing your sensitivity? I don't like sliders as it is unreliable. I want to copy my exact sensitivity from another game etc.

anyone know why when i launch the game on steam, it gives me the safe mode option were it ask you if you want to launch in safe mode or not ! yes or no option, and no matter what i hit it goes to launch and quits, ive checked the integrity of the game files, says its all g. any help please?
Can I use the steam controller input instead of DS4 windows? For whatever reason I can’t get DS4 windows to work with my ps5 controller. Only the touchpad worked in game.
We NEED a content creator with access to a copy of the files to leak these somewhere, at the very least it will give the community access to mw2r multiplayer against bots....
so is there something in place that requires an official copy of the game? i've seen alot of people say its needed but no ones said why its needed. Surely the mod doesn't use activision servers so hows the mod tell the difference between and official copy or pirated copy?
do you have to do the FPS unlocker every time you boot up the game or can it be done once? also did you find a solution or workaround for the mouse acceleration?
I'd really like to see a company take a leap of faith on one of these community mods. I get there would be an incredible amount of liability but why not pay the modders a percentage of what it would've cost for the company to create, bring them in too see if they fit with the company/can consult, or at the very least speak to them-because they clearly seem to know what your audience wants more than you do.
Would be cool to see if Activision pulls a Rockstar and hires on the guys who modded GTA Online or whatever it was, FiveM? I think? something like that would be cool

The sensitivity feels so off in this game for MnK, I'm on lowest sens but it's so fast even though DPI is only 800 and it seems like the scope has a slower sensitivity. Also is there a way to fix the bug where you spawn and you're holding w but you dont' move?
if anyone can help, I launch the Multiplayer and it try to load shaders automatically and just Freeze. I was able to take disabled the shader for campaign but MP keeps on Freezing at main menu.
Hey Rxqe, i have been having an error where my top refresh rate is 23.98 instead of 239.8 or 240. i have not been able to find it in settings on my own.
i disabled the shaders on the campaign side but launching the multiplayer it keeps freezing because of the shaders. i cant get onto the multiplayer to disable it on that side im not sure what to do
