Hi Gustav, thank you for this. After failing to get a chase account set up I am looking for alternatives. I'm looking for something that I can mainly use abroad on holiday. So I don't incur fees like I do on the debit card. Then maybe here with saving functions in the uk as well. Would I be able to put say £150 onto the card from my bank account and use that abroad without fees?

LOVE monzo My Halifax debit card was blocked on the weekend and I was screwed had no spare cards and the bank was closed so was racing around websites hope to get an instant debit card online and was very surprised 10 minutes later I had a online debit card that I could put on Google pay straight away for card less/contactless so i could get fuel and food etc till my card arrives, Google pay is so addictive I may never end up needing to get my card out again ☺

Hello yes you can after 1st transfer it keeps the account number and sort code on a list you can click on it easily and just send the amount you want. You can also freeze and unfreeze the debit card as you wish so no one can use your card if it’s lost or stolen. I think all banks should have this option

Get a job, utilise any discounts available e.g. student, 16-25, NHS. Ensure there are no hidden subscription service, make a claim for accidental travel, apply for a credit card to ease payment.

Hi, if talking about the cash withdrawals, it will be 3% of the amount you wish to withdraw that is over the fee free amount. I imagine the ATM may inform you of the charge, but I am not sure as I do not withdraw cash often, as it can affect your credit report. Hope you have a great day.
