If that's USD you could have gotten a full body wrap for that which would look better and last longer. Plasti dipping is supposed to be the total bargain level of recolouring a car. The most it should cost is for the paint gun itself as Plasti dipp is cheap AF, and time of course. I always judge things on how much I could earn working in that time. Doing it solo would take about 2 days including drying time so if it was me I would probably just get it done by a professional.

Just make sure the tip of the gun is clean. The inside of the gun should be fine considering you’re continuously spraying liquid every 15 min.

How has the gun held up. Any problems? Actually want to get the kit.. but read that if you say no to the spray gun.. I guess you have to call and say you want the advanced spray gun?? ​@@GozBrian

​@@BVE.Blackveinwith wrap it's more skill.. both are almost allike.. one it sprayed and one is used my head and the thing to smooth it out... I found out about dip your car long ago.. but yesterday I got shocked.. you don't need a lot of prep work.. from what I've seen. Apply the things that are in the bundle. Just a wash dry it.. prep it..which is the rolls and under the car to not leave over spray and the hood.. and your done.. wheels are also optional. Besides that start spraying just always use 50 50.... All the mixing and all the B's is not needing.. you buy the product and it is easy apply it!. Compared to actual real paint.. it's not a wash and apply.. you have to have to sand it to bare metal. And not sure what else but it is more work compared to just this plastic dip...if you have very very luxurys cars.. this is the way to go. Once your bored get red of it.. and wrap it's. A bit risky . Your using knives and can cut your actual paint.. more then likely to get it scratched. Need tons of patients to apply it. Need gloves.. and can't just get ready to apply when it's wrap.. need to stretch it and look how it is.. overstretch it and it's useless.. why I honestly feel this plastic thing is top notch. It's kinda like wrap. Once dried and whenever you want take it off.... Owe a 2003 ram all rusted and not so well.. and man I can't wait to get all the tools and apply this.

Yeah but thats crappy wrap material dude. For a real good PET wrap in the same color the wrap would be way more.

It’s not slick like paint, no. It’s more of a hardened rubber.

Regular soap and water. No harsh chemicals.

Yes. The lifespan for the dip is 1-3 years. If done correctly, it should peel off easier than vinyl.
