Sherry I agree with the lady below me you do not need computers. AI is the start of a slippery slope of not wanting you to think for yourself which is already happening in schools and universities . It gave you a lot of choices so you was designing it yourself really.

Many people do not realize that A1 is already replacing people. Taking their jobs away. This is only the beginning of the end. Why can we not think for ourselves anymore? People just want easy all the time now. I truly believe that this is going to replace Mankind. Sherri you are the most amazing creative crafter or decorations person I have ever watched. I recently painted my living room and dining room nearly the same colors deep navy and warm white and I love it. I think your “can do” attitude and boundless energy are just amazing. You will tack EvANYTHING and it comes out beautiful!
Your foyer came out stunning! I like the rug you have currently, it pulls out the pops of red you have scattered around the room. I personally think the wainscoting effect is lost at a distance being all the same color, but I totally like the color. Enjoy your beautiful new area!!
That was a fun experiment, but I agree with others that, in the end, it was your personal choices that made all the difference. I was so excited to learn about the sealer over the old wallpaper paste. That has been a nightmare that happened to me and stopped me in my progress. Now I have a solution! Thank you! I love the navy and how it makes paintings and accessories pop! And I love the easy wainscoting idea. I think the “white” cabinet could be another color as this color is jarring in there. Maybe a metallic sort of thing as someone else suggested! Ps. I love birds as much as you do!!

I like the navy accent wall especially with the contrast of the Sea Salt painted hutch in front of it. I painted our guest bathroom Sea Salt 6 years ago and I still love it! It does matter what spectrum color it’s in. When I used warm bulbs I thought it looked drab, but with a cool tone light bulb it looks fresh and pretty. Also, just want to mention, I emailed you last week regarding some crafting supplies so just checking to see if you saw the email? If you’re not interested I totally understand. The AI choices turned out really nice but I also think the choices you make with your own creativity are beautiful!
I’ve had a few conversations with ChatGPT & enjoyed my interaction with it. It did however make a few errors which we discussed & it corrected them. I don’t know that I would have been as brave as you to let it pick your decorations but they did turn out lovely. I feel you had more to do with it than the AI because it only gave you the suggestion & you made the decisions on what looked best in your home.
Sherry your foyer looks beautiful. I definitely would change the rug to the second one you showed. I appreciate you showing this app. There are many who want or need the help of a designer to get started or pointed in the right direction or even just confirmation of their choices. I agree that you definitely can and do make the “right” choices. I love the navy wall.
I thought it was quite interesting but with or without AI your room would have been beautiful because you are an artist. I loved the navy color accent wall but the color is so dark it's hard on video to see that there is the lovely touch of wainscoting, it just appears mostly like a solid wall. But it is a beautiful blue! Lovely foyer!

It is beautiful! I must say that it seems much more formal now than it did....and I am so glad you put the birds back on the stair wall! I love them! It doesn't say come on in, kick your shoes off, and set a spell! LOL!!! That is fine though. I am tired of my comfy, casual style......and I do love navy!
When you were painting the navy color, i thought it looked like black (eww), but it really came out very beautiful. Those colors all worked so well together.
Sherry, I'm with you, the cabinet looks white to me. Overall your foyer looks lovely. I especially like your bird bell pull. The blue is nice and the beige is definitely complementary it's quite beautiful but you definitely need a new rug.
Fun video. I like the light cabinet against the navy wall. The color suggestions very in right now. Have you ever considered a round rug? Dear Modern's Cliff suggests it in one of his fung shui videos to give a little pause when you arrive, especially when there are many different openings/directions competing for your attention. Not a fan of the bronze mirror color. The wall treatment doesn't really show up on video, perhaps better in reality. Love the bird accessories, especially the hanging next to the door in the perfect niche to frame it and the bench fabric. Thank you for your inspiration. Looking forward to seeing more. I guess a better way to say it...I have watched you since your very first video and you are genius at choosing color, print, decor and the list goes on. Hi Sherry. I’m impressed with what “AI” advised you to do in your foyer. The foyer turned out beautifully! And I have ALWAYS loved your bird gallery wall. I have been concentrating on buying bird decor. From thrift stores, of course. Recently used classic gold gilding paint on two bird themed lamps in my master bedroom. My gallery wall going up my staircase is different prints, photographs and paintings of the lighthouse here in South Georgia. Great video as always. I may try using AI in the future. 🤔🤔🤔
Hi Sherry, it looks lovely. Personally I wouldn't have chosen navy, but your light may be different (I live in England), on a north facing wall I need brighter colours. I am surprised about the moulding too, they don't really show up on video but maybe in real life they are a subtle and classy accent. I have taken all the mouldings off my walls for safety, I have mobility issues and I spent a week in hospital after giving myself concussion. I fell and hit my head on the moulding as I went down lol. It wasn't my finest hour.

I reviewed your finished foyer and know you are not finished yet. The rug , in my opinion needs to be a bright green background with a navy blue and perhaps some dull red kind of motif. Why? The green and blue will support your color scheme and pull some elements together. You had doubts about the pale , almost white, green on the display/ enclosed bookcase . I agree.
Sherry that room looks amazing! I had not heard of that particular app, but my grandson did use AI for a school project last year so I was somewhat familiar with what it could do. I really love a navy color these days and those colors went so well with the navy. I can't imagine how long it took you to do all that work but I am impressed with your skills, you are truly amazing and your home is just so beautiful. Great job Sherry!
I love the combo of navy and beige. Most of my house is decorated with those colors. I like everything in the foyer with the exception of the cabinet color. Perhaps if you used one of the pretty greens in the chalk paint line would help it coordinate better. As far as the light fixture kudos to you for tackling that 👏👏

Thank you! Yes, it acted like a guide, so there is still a lot of human input. However, I would never have selected beige paint. I have never painted anything beige before, but I am really pleased.
You may be right. I will say that I don’t think I would have chosen the beige paint color. I would have gone ivory, but I think the beige is perfect! On the other hand, I may still repaint the cabinet.
This was fun to watch. I'm not sure I feel comfortable using AI, but the suggestions that it gave you were interesting to watch. It was still your personal eye for colors and design that made the space pretty.
I have never used anything l Al before, but might give it a try for ideas. I thought chair railing was to add contrast in color, I would have never been so bold as to use the navy blue. I think if I saw it up closer, to see the texture it created I might think differently. The other comments are right, you have such a good eye for color, texture, and design you don’t need Al. But if you were suggesting we who get suck use it to think outside our box great suggested. Just because it suggest something doesn’t mean I have to do it. It’s just another tool. Thanks.
I understand using AI. You have decorated your whole house why not get some input where you can. Your decorator skills came out in the accessories, where you knock it out of the ball park. Blue was such a bold choice and the wainscoting was simple but so affective.The chandelier was whimsical and beautiful. I think I would have used a larger rug but you did an excellent job. I can see so many things that I would copy in my own space. Thank you

It all turned out very nice, but for me personally I don't care for dark paint. It makes me feel like the walls are coming in on me. Your entry did look very polished though.
I am not sure you can truly compare a Roomba vacuum to ChatGPT. I stand by my complete dislike of AI but I think your choices turned out striking and beautiful. Bottom line was that suggestions were given but it was your choices that made the end result stunning. There is something about ChatGPT that makes me feel very uneasy. Have you ever investigated some of the shocking conversations it has had with people (well documented) about God and human kind?
It came out lovely. With all your expertise I know you didn’t need AI, but I appreciate that you showed indecisive and inexperienced people such as I how we can use it to make the decorating process less daunting. I think you should keep the rug. Red is always a fun pop color.
