If it was, they wouldn't need the extravagance. This wedding is not about the couple's love. It's about mummy and daddy showing off their credit cards to their extended families and guests. In Lebanese culture, the bride and groom don't get married. Rather, it's the mummies and daddies that marry their children off. It's the parent's show, not the children's!
@@annika9348 My wedding was like this in the sense that there were approximately 700 guests because of large family and friends from both families. However, it was not extravagant. In this wedding, they are trying to emulate royalty and grandeur which is distasteful. This situation has nothing to do with love. Love is something different. However, showing off one's pretend riches can get in the way of love. That is why it is best to keep one's wealth and display of wealth hidden and allow more beautiful sentiments such as love to come out. Love flourishes with humility and tends to wane with arrogance. Unfortunately, love and displays of arrogance do not mix. They are enemies of one another.
The symbolism and beauty in this ceremony was profound. The ballerinas were like an extension to her train. The steps to the different levels mimic life and it's events. I love the way the groom goes to meet her, and the couple basically handle their vows. To sing for a wedding in an opera house must have been magnificent! The vocalists were perfection!!
Heck yeah! My funeral is gonna be rockin'. Told my kids they better blast Metallica and Def Leopard at my service.....Rock of Ages & Enter Sandman, lol.
Didn’t even notice that until you said that I wonder how she did it maybe her gown was pinned up in the front that or she might’ve had a hoop that pushed her going out enough so that she could walk up that’s about the only way she could’ve done it
Absolutely platinum wedding, beautiful bride. Handsome groom, planned with such love and care, it's a wonder to see and I love it, congratulations to this beautiful couple..
The opera music combined with Islamic prayer is absolutely breathtaking ! Mesmerising! Wish this beautiful couple a long , happy and successful married life filled with laughter and love ❤️ Ameen 🤲🏽
The blend of cultures represented in the song was breathtaking! Very beautiful, elegant, and a testament to humanity's capacity to love one another through faith, honor, and devotion. ❤❤❤
And what was the deal with the ceremony? Like she does that huge entrance to meet with him in front of the priest for what? Where was the ceremony? The exchange of the rings?
@AveolarD not hating. Just curious because every religion tends to make a big production out of a wedding ceremony. This seemed like it was just an entrance, meet and greet the priest/Iman, then go on to the party?
I wish them great happiness! My total wedding cost: $1000 . I've been happily married for almost 3 decades. What you spend on your wedding has no bearing on your life together. Enjoy who you married regardless of the cash you have ❤ Rich or poor - the love you have is what makes or breaks all marriages. God bless you two ❤
I agree love..people spend all their life earnings & their parents life earnings on a wedding & don’t stay married a hour..smh..folks get divorced quicker than the bride could change her last name on stuff
May be what they spent is equivalent of 1000 you spent....this is so expensive for those with less money but it's nothing for those who have the money . Some only depend $2....! Congratulations wish you more years
Exactly!! Always think it’s disrespectful to bring your phone out at a wedding ESPECIALLY when there’s people walking down the isle....like the groom and bride are literally PAYING people to film it professionally...the actual disrespect of guests to do that will never make sense to me I mean.? It ain’t your wedding to film either
Life is full of the lovely things like the morning sun, the gleaming dew drops, the sparkling rain, the vast blue sky, the whistles of chirping birds, the beauty of the sea. Hope you're doing great and in good health ?
She is not Lebanese. She is the granddaughter of former Iraq president ( Saddam Hussein). Her name is Banan Kamal Hussein. Her mother is the eldest daughter of Saddam, her name is Raghda.
Previously weddings were only for royalty because the Monarchies hoarded all the money, food, best livestock, jewelry, fashion designers but people are getting free from the monarchies and discovering freedom. If only they could get free from the religious occults and discover Jesus individually without following a false prophet. Jeremiah 23 Isaiah 31:2
The soundtrack is called Islamochristian Ave by Tania Cassis and it is used in the wedding in order to show respect to the interfaith couple, because the husband is a Muslim and the wife a Christian. I think it is beautiful. Let us show respect to all religions.
AypexX ! Some Muslims say that it is haram to mix Azaan with music, but I personally as a Christian see it differently and believe that it should be okay in this situation.
AypexX ! Yeah a mix of both would be a great idea:) I would definitely advise you to plan your wedding as you both want to and not to care about what other people say. It is your day after all! Congratulations:)
Absolutely stunning wedding. I personally would be too overwhelmed to probably even walk up the stairs. That was a lot but I am happy for the couple. Congratulations! I did like the way he came and got her. That was a very expensive wedding! That was a lot!
It’s all relative, for people with this amount of wealth the money spent on this wedding wasn’t a hardship. What a gorgeous wedding. The venue, the music, the dancers, and her dress…… AMAZING!!!!!!
It isn’t everyone’s wedding taste , but at least we need to respect their choice, it is their ceremony Let’s just be happy for them and wish them the best 🕊🕊
It's not my taste, it seems as if it's more a display of wealth as well as ownership of the bride who must be beautiful....I just don't get it. What do the not-so-attractive females do in this culture, or the ones who don't come from money. This is just a display, but hey,,,nice to see the dress as a fashion show, that's about it. Does it mean happiness? no, we all know the answer to that...money just can't buy true love.
The bride didn't look all that happy. While walking with her groom down that long hallway, she looked nervous, skeptical, and perhaps even fearful, wondering what was ahead.
@@dashapilat8203 this is just another reason I wanna be rich before starting a family so I dont have to ever worry about expenses at my wedding (even though i dont care for one) my honeymoon, baby shower(honestly dont care for that earthier) houses, cars and my kids needs and wants while being able to still pamper myself however I want🙃
Honestly. Like, I wouldn’t want a wedding this big because I wouldn’t like to be the center of attention. But even if people don’t like the place, her hairstyle and her dress, they can express their opinion without mocking the bride. Or even better, as the saying goes “if you don’t have anything nice to say, then don’t say anything at all”... Sad how everyone is being rude.
@@chocolatecookie8719 Such a typical response from people like you who are full of jealousy and envy. Why don't you tell us how much is too much when it comes to money and wealth. Go ahead ... we'll wait ... ... crickets ...
Denise Skaggs and Gloria You both are a pair of ugly jeleous old crusty women Why don't you just enjoy the video and why make negative comment Don't bother watching it then
No jealousy at all, if the money was clean! Daughter of Jamal Khaddam, the son of Abdulhaleem Khaddam who was vice-president of Syrian President Hafez Al Assad for 30 years. That's the source of the dirty money, and to add more, the source of Jamal Khaddam's money starts from the day he brought NUCLEAR RADIOACTIVE WASTE from France and buried it in the Syrian desert!
The music is stunning I walked up the Isle to the Ave Maria Hymn 32 years ago ! I assume one is Christian and one Muslim … the combination of both music cultures worked beautifully…
Is it even a wedding? It looks like it was an introduction of them by the priest/Iman. Where was the ceremony? The exchange of vows? This was such a strange thing to witness....
So many jealous haters who could never have a wedding like this. This is THEIR dream wedding, NOT YOURS! Be happy for them. Negativity will get you nowhere.⭐️
This is not a dream, this is a show off. Only after the idea of a show off that dreams are born, all of it out of ego. Do you really think that was their dream ? If there was no other humans on earth would they still do this exact wedding ? No. Then it is a show off. Lavish cars and expensive weddings are all things of an empty soul, you can't convince yourself nor others otherwise. As Leonardo Da Vinci said : simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication. Get lost with this stupid pink bubble analogy of yours.
Luckily each couple is exactly as happy on their weddingday as this couple - rich or poor is no difference in the hearts - that is the most amazing thing about it all. This wedding is credible rich on thousends of white roses, but the one white rose over them all is always the bride and finally - no one is happier for a wedding than for their own💑🙏💘
Yall be pretending our small wedding is really meaningful like our aunties is not shading the bride's dresses in the back of the church seat. The lies you tell 🤣
This looks like the type of wedding where 90% of guests showed up for a free meal and taking pictures for insta. **ADDED: I AM NOT SAYING THEY NEED (!) A FREE MEAL**
Oh my goodness, how magnificent! The venue, the flowers, the young ballerinas! Really handsome couple, too - the bride is a stunner and I love her dress. How I wish I could have had a wedding like this!
Okay, I know that that the main focus is the couple getting married here...But as someone who recently had to help with some minor floral arrangements for a small event, all I can do is focus on the flowers lining the whole staircase and hyperventilate at the sheer implied cost of all those fucking flowers.
Wow. Imagine if this was, “Love at first sight.” Like the show. I hope the marriage is going well because this was a pretty fancy way of getting it done.
RIGHT! That’s all my eyes could focus on ! Just shows that people didn’t come there to see to people get married ....I mean how hard is it to put your phone away and let the videographers do THERE JOB!!
They literally had professional people videoing it so I feel like none of them should've had their phones out.. they couldve saved footage later :( all of them had their phones out
❤❤❤❤ The wedding of epic elegant dreams. The ballerinas were perfect just added an extra touch of class, beauty, and elegance. One of the most elaborate weddings I have seen. No matter the cost of your wedding your love should be celebrated on your wedding day, every day, and every year.
I freaking hate when people bust out their phones at concerts, weddings, etc. Just be in the moment for God sakes. Like the good old days. That's what memories and reminiscing are for
I completely agree! Everyone looks at events through their cameras and they are not enjoying the moment. The should respect the beautiful couple and put the phones down.
I’m so happy you said this! My new sister-in-law asked me if I got any of the ceremony because she saw me film her coming down the aisle. But I didn’t because at that point I put my phone away and listened to and was in the moment of what the pastor was saying and the vows of my brother and her said to each other. I felt bad because what had happened was the live stream they had didn’t work( they got married during the pandemic and wanted people who couldn’t go to watch) and it was being recorded but because it didn’t work, it wasn’t recorded. So they were asking anyone and everyone if they had a recording of the ceremony. But once I explained that I wanted to be in the moment, she thought that was the sweetest and nicest thing she heard. I felt better after that. 😁💗
I got married in the good old days before digital photography. It would have been considered extremely rude to ask guests not to take photos during the ceremony because it was the only way they got photos at all. The sounds of film winding up wasn't distracting, it's just the way it was. And every click you heard meant someone wanted to capture that moment. We had to think carefully about which photos we took so we wouldn't run out of film!
What a beautiful, gorgeous, precious, sweet and fabulous wedding! I absolutely love the ballerinas! Applause to the person who thought of this! Spectacular wedding!
I feel the ballerinas added a lovely touch. They could commemorate something about the bride. Perhaps she enjoys ballet or is involved in ballet. The wedding is different that is all. No need for anyone to be jealous. Envy eats you up. A happy future to them. Rn.
I don't judge but the money spent here could help so many. Why is excess, status and conspicuous consumption so admired? Simple is beautiful. Service is beautiful. Love is beautiful.
Now that's what you call a grand opening. That building is remarkable. Give it up to those whom helped design and create such a lovely splendor for all to see.😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 Truly congratulations to the bride and groom❤🙂
Some people say they missed the breathtaking part well the part is the entrance melody combined between the muslim and christian prayer and in my opinion this deserves more attention than any other wedding cz it shows that no matter the religion they can still be together. And for yall who s gonna say “well you cnt mix those two blabla...” for your knowledge the holy mary that the christian praise is in fact mentioned numerous times in the kor’an and well respected so let’s not focus on the difference and use our common interests to unite us
Yes, but they used the call to prayer as bgm for their wedding.. it doesn't make sense. I think Christians sound the bells for weddings but it's not the same with our prayer call.
Mary is mentionned in kuraan beacause islam is the last religion and it englobes all the previous religions. Dont mix things, halal is clear and haram is clear .... even if i consider this wedding normal, they could put an islamic music instead of putting adhan which is something precious in islam, we can not mix it with any other music...
I believe you that holy mary is mentioned in the kor'an, but you just cant mix up these two religions. The god that christians believe in has a son called jesus. While the god that muslim believe in does not have any son. Thats just one of many examples....
look, it is not about respecting here. This "sound" is not just a sound. It is Azan which is a call to pray to God. This Sound is respected and should not be mixed with any other things, especially not with music. It is a contrast and actually disrespectful against the Religion Islam. Again, it is not against the Wedding or Christian culture. They could have used an arabic melodic Sound but not the call to prayer.
May this couple have love and happiness throughout their life together. With all the joy life can give them. May God and Allah be with you both , smiling over your love together.
This ceremony is absolutely exquisite! I would have loved to be there for the music alone. I think it was as sacred as a wedding could be and I wish I could do this for my daughter. Everyone was happy and everything was so beautiful. I’m glad I have eyes to see it and ears to take in the Angelic voices. I’m happy for all of them! If you can afford it why not?
I agree with some of these negative comments but I have to say, I would love to be married there. The place is just classy and absolutely beautiful! Hope they have a long and happy marriage.
Weddings support the local economy involving numerous vendors. They utilize numerous skills in music, art, production design, chef, bakers, dress makers, hotel and banquet facilities, florists assuming the bride doesn't cheat with a fake foam cake and fake flowers.
Violent occult regimes use multiple strategies to make people docile followers including forced incest, forced malnutrition, honor beatings, bribery, extortion, racketeering. They keep honoring the slavery of their ancestors whom none of this would be possible.
Funny when the groom wanted to hold her hand, the bride was too busy seeing whether people are noticing her.. it's not breathtaking.. it's irritating..
What a grand beautiful wedding, those little ballerinas were so adorable! The groom looked happy yet the bride was hesitant in holding his hand and turned her face when he kissed her…I wish that man a happy life
Like, I was thinking the very same thing.. Sooooooooooo, I'm guessing that solely based on the fact that they both showed up that day was good enough to call it done. No verbiage necessary.. Shhhhhitttt, now I'm wondering why the Ppl at work haven't jumped on this same philosophy.. 🤔
I'm not that much knowledgeable about their traditional wedding, but as I know this is just their official 'bonding' their ties (just like 'u may kiss the bride' in the church wedding) Cuz there's a previous ceremony between the groom and a male relative of bride before the groom fetch his bride to bring out in the ceremony hall. Just telling
For muslims, the most important is the akad where the groom and bride make a promise to each other in front of witnesses. This can be done among family members. After the akad, then only we have the reception where we invite friends and extended families. This must be their reception.
@Mary Davey I think she's saying that a private ceremony takes place before what we're seeing here happens, and this is more like an introduction to a "public " reception. Well, reception with family and friends.
Absolutely gorgeous bride. Actually, they’re both incredibly gorgeous. Congratulations on your new bride and best wishes to your new groom. May you have a beautiful marriage.
