In this video I breakdown HOW TO GET A PERFECT THROWING MOTION. I hope you enjoy! WE ARE TRAVELING TO 11 MORE STATES FOR QB/WR CAMPS! ⬇️⬇️⬇️ www.firstdownt...
so far i like everything you said! gotta work with the natural mechanics of the individual thrower and work from there. first vid watched but i have an idea where you go from here. diversify throwing mechanics from the og position like mahomes. one thing id say is the exercises are better done in the morning because we have natural test boost... just saying
Appreciate you sir, thank you very much. We have sold out every camp and we still have 5 remaining. Definitely been a blessing and I’m really grateful for all of the support
Just watched this. I completely agree with you as I refuse to pay someone to teach my son what I can do. I end up having to re-teach him. So far for the last couple yrs, you are the only one that teaches the same as me. Its very refreshing to say the least. Any chance you will be in the South Dakota area?
Appreciate you sir, thank you very much for watching and I’m glad the content can give you and your son some value! Not this year in South Dakota but we will be close in Boise ID- here is the info below www.firstdowntraining.com/service-page/boise-idaho-qb-wr-camp?referral=service_list_widget
In my experience the main problem with lifting without a backstroke is that the shoulders end up rotating before the hips, so the sequence is broken. It is often accompanied by an indisciplined front side, as the front arm ends up extending and pulling down, as you explain. This seems to force the front leg to stiffen rather than remain bent through the release.
Hey coach when I’m running a 10 yard out how far should I stem my db off his platform before start running vertical again Also if I’m running a post against zone do you recommend getting on his toes and on the left moment throwing a triple rocker step
For the post yes but make sure to lead to that triple you build into it with a single cut and regular rocker step. For the 10yd out I honestly think it kind of depends on the coverage
When will u be in Newark NJ or did u come through already? I would love to bring my 10 year old son he just started Pop Warner football 🏈 and loves it 😊
We already came through! But this year we will be having a camp in Philly- here is the info www.firstdowntraining.com/service-page/philadelphia-pa-qb-wr-camp?referral=service_list_widget
How many reps of the backstroke would you recommend per day. I have a 10 year old son who doesn’t get much of a backstroke on his throws. Thanks love the videos
It can help sometimes just make sure you don’t over rotate and rip open your front shoulder. I personally don’t teach the opposite pocket thing, I teach to extend and wherever the hand goes is fine but if that helps you follow through I’m not against it
Honestly I would say it’s the same thing for TEs & RBs that I teach WRs so any of the content on this channel would help! Routes May differ but how you get open stays the same
I’m honestly not too sure- it’s a good football but the only reason I have it is because they sent it to me. I personally can’t justify the price but 😂🤷🏻♂️ the football is very easy to break in and comes off my hand great.
hey coach, right now i run a very slow 40 time and im looking to get it down cuz im short. Im fast on the field but when i run the 40 timed its a 5.3. Im 15 years old and do you think its possible i can run a 4.4-5 by the time im 18?
im not coach but with enough speed training yes, you are also still growing and you will get stronger by the time you are 18. I believe that you can get that time or even surpass that time with enough training.
That’s tricky but possible I think it’s probably your start and maybe lack of explosion. This below can help you! ⬇️ www.firstdowntraining.com/product-page/28-day-speed-workout-plan
@@firstdowntraining with my condition there's no way to properly show my players the techniques as I once did, but when I saw your videos the breakdown I saw a young me with personality know more importantly wisedome. So thank you and your team for presenting good information with understanding
He does, but he has correct timing with his foot strike and hip rotation when his shoulders initially go back. I wouldn’t try to replicate his throwing mechanics. He’s kind of like mahomes, the stuff he does isn’t necessarily what you’d teach a young QB.
If it doesn’t dip behind your head I think it’s fine- dips behind your head because you lift your arm to 90, that’s when it can cause problems and lead to injury
