Since you have an Orange Pi 5, you might want to look at RebornOS (Arch based) too. And perhaps even BredOS (coming soon).

I want one for ROM's and DOS games. I have a SNES Classic Mini however its not powerful enough for DOS games. (Blood, DN3D, Shadow Warrior) Would a Pi5 be powerful enough?

Your video is very well produced. It's just a very basic info, so having ZimaBoard 216 and Raspberry 3B know everything that was mentioned. I was looking more for which SBCs are worth trying and which are not. Can ZimaBoard do NAS? Yeah, but ... processor is quite slow, it's not great when it host image gallery and generating thumbnails takes already annoyingly noticeable time, it has little memory (2GB) to run modern browsers and despite much superior I/O speed to my RPI3B and despite being faster, it's not great. I replaced it by refurbished ultra small factor pc with five times more power and four times more memory and now I don't have use for it. RPI3B has at least GPIO and camera, so it can do timelapse of growing plant or something and in many cases it's good enough. I was searching for some info like what to get as personal experience on what works and what does not is nice. I personally feel like high end sbc that are trying to be a computer make no sense.

Calling essentially a smartphone motherboard a “computer” is like the teacher marveling at the fact a calculator is technically also a computer

There's a rather important distinction between the smartphone and calculator, one can run turing complete programs, the other cannot. Mind you, I'm not in general a huge fan of turning everything into a mobile style privacy nightmare, but there's some real good reasons to root for SBC's too.

That mask isn't going to do anything to protect you from soldering fumes. I suggest soldering outdoors or using a proper fume extractor otherwise
