Thank you very much for the tour. I think what I would’ve done differently is walked in from the valet, gone to the check-in and then shown everyone where their elevator banks are to the rooms first, then tour the interior; then jump to the exterior. The reason I came to your tour was to see how far it is to walk from the valet to the different room elevator banks because apparently some are closer to the main valet than others, and I have one person in my party with mobility issues after a torn meniscus. Thank you very much however. That’s just a suggestion for other tours. Yours is the most comprehensive all. Much appreciated.

I stayed at the Flamingo a year ago. And I had a go room. It was very nice. The view was priceless. Food court was not all that. Carlos & Charlie's had a 2 for 1 drink specials. And those drinks were good and strong. So. Flamingo is a decent place to stay.

Flamingo has long been my favorite hotel and casino on the strip. Location is perfect for us. Starting going twice a year in 1988. March and Thanksgiving week. 2018 was last visit as arthritis put a stop to that. 1st few years tried every decent hotel on the strip. Settled on the flamingo and enjoyed every visit. Beings back some wonderful memories.

I love your videos. They are so down to earth and more informative than most. Have excellent memories of the flamingo. I love how you mentioned the casino was built in the 70’s and 90’s because everyone thinks it was built in 1946 and say that’s why it’s so crowded!😊

Yeah, people always use the old "Its 75 years old, what do you expect?" excuse. The rooms themselves are no where near that old, and it doesn't matter because every resort remodels them every 10-15 years anyway. Thanks as always for watching!

@@ShowMeVegas I love the old hotels and history. The only one I won’t stay at is horseshoe, it creeps me out because of the fire. I don’t want to sleep in a room where a family died.

What a fantastic way to explore Flamingo from the comfort of home! The 4K quality really makes you feel like you’re strolling down the Vegas Strip. But I’m curious, after watching this tour, what’s the first thing you plan to do when you arrive at Flamingo?

@@beautybyjendayi Hey, I stayed at the Flamingo in one of their updated rooms. Not bad. Room was clean and comfortable. Price was right and location was ideal. The hotel seemed to be populated by lots of young folks and for a couple nights we had a noisy bunch next door (wife and I are mid 30s and we like our sleep lol). Other hotels seemed to have a better restaurant selection.

Thanks for the content! We've tried Margaritaville twice through the years and will never spend money there again. There's way too many great restaurants in Vegas to waste and money at Margaritaville again

Would like to stay there, maybe my next visit. At 0:30 is a shot of the pool way back when and it has a diving board. Today no resort casino in Las Vegas has a diving board. Umph............

Love this type of videos. Thank you. Question about elevators to rooms at flamingo. Do they require keys to make them work like at mgm resorts. Stayed at horseshoe early April and they did not require keys.

Do you think this motel would be safe for a woman and 12 year old girl? I booked this room before reading all of the terrible reviews because my daughter and I love flamingos, I am taking her for her birthday. Now I'm not sure if we should stay here or not. Anyone that has any insight on Las vegas motels, please feel free to leave a comment. I am so stressed out over this, and I'm not sure if we should stay here.

Gosh, that's a tough call. The crowd at Flamingo is a little rough around the edges, and there is no security at the elevators. A lot of Las Vegas hotels require an active room key to access your floor, but most Caesars properties (like Flamingo) do not. If you do stay there, we'd suggest practicing good habits like being very aware of your surroundings (especially on the elevator and in the hallways), take a security wedge of some sort for your hotel room door, and not let your daughter go anywhere alone (like not even to the ice/vending machines). That's not to say something WILL happen, but that's definitely how we'd handle it.

@ShowMeVegas Thank you so much for the reply. I wouldn't let her go to the ice machine by herself even if we were in another city or state. Yikes, I don't like that anyone can go on our floor without a key. Doesn't sound right to me. If we were to choose another location, which one should we consider? I don't mind being out the money I've already paid, keeping my daughter safe is my top priority.

I'm traveling by car from Los Angeles to Vegas. It's the first time in visit Vegas. Can I park at the entrtance while I cehck in ? How does it work ?

You'll need to park your care (either by valet or in the self parking) before going to the front desk. Vegas porte cocheres too busy to allow guests to leave their cars in front while they check in. Have fun, and thanks for watching!

The Flamingo can't be beat location wise, but the interior is not that well defined, seems a little bit of everything is scattered around, feels more like Grand Central Station and definitely does not offer the comfort and intimacy that the serious gamblers look for.
