Satan can interfere with our feelings to upset us and hold us back . Childhood pain or any hurt can do the same. But whatever you feel like and however you have been hurt you are precious in God's sight and yes, He loves you and He loves you more than you can imagine with an everlasting love! Amen! 🙏😊
Just realized I've been living with a general sense of low self esteem, that has led me to always seek to please people, that has led me to even have a sense of body dismorphia, i never believed I am beautiful, but now after saying this prayer I felt a sense of relief,I'm going to say this prayer every morning and evening until it is engraved on my mind that I am not unworthy or unwanted
God gives us strength to endure, it’s because of him I have endured. I’m a single mother with two beautiful autistic children. My husband passed away years ago. I lost my job over declining the vaccine. I declined due to my pre existing health conditions lupus and heart disease. I’ve been struggling to provide for myself and my children since losing my job from Forsyth hospital. But God has given me strength. Strength to keep obeying and serving even when I feel tired and overwhelmed and like I can’t go on. Every month is a battle to not end up homeless on the streets with my two children. But I have faith God will provide. Even as I’m mocked and harassed by others for my circumstances and choice. I will keep Faith. Please pray for me and my boys. God hears all prayers.

This is the most beautiful explanation of this parable. I had never heard it explained like this. God is also a killer,he ordered many killings in the OT. I'm afraid he will kill me too or strike me down with sickness, like Job. There is no guarantee that by trusting God I will have food. I read of many missionaries that starved to death. I'm lost and without hope. I wish I was never born.

Also true is there are millions of worthy saints that have put trust in Him and He died for all . . . Yet . . I was there, . . on His mind and close to His heart while He carried His cross. . . Self Esteem=holding the self in high Esteem. I don’t think we are the pearls, Jesus Christ is the pearl, the righteousness we obtain through our Faith in him and his atonement. The World seeks self esteem, self righteousness, self confidence, Christian’s hold God in esteem, seeks his righteousness and gains confidence from abiding in his word
I know what he says, I've also seen what he does. He says he will favor who he will favor, and he does...He loves us grunt workers that repeatedly get the cast off's, short stick, no ability to defend yourself because you don't have the clout and are not one of the good ole' boys, and repeatedly put on the back burner. He just doesn't like us as much as his key players...
This is very lovely, but I think the pearl represents the kingdom of heaven that you're supposed to give up all you have to obtain. Also, the Orthodox refer to Jesus as the pearl of great price, in their akathist hymn to him.
What if we feel lonely? Rejected by others? I know we should not seek others validation, but God didn't intend to create us to be solitude creatures. Didn't he create Eve for Adam so he wouldn't be lonely?
Yes that's true, but unfortunately we are at a time when people have decided to follow idols. It is written 2 Timothy 3. That is why we don't have much community. Try to stay encouraged in these last days.
I have found that we often seek solace in others as a replacement for God himself. Let God become your all-in-all, your everything. If you do you will find that you can then be with others and enjoy them without needing something from them, or subtilty using them to fill some need in you. You won't want to because God fills all.

There are always others worse than ourselves- so I pray & go looking for them- sometimes it’s a phone operator - or the receptionist gal / whomever - telemarketer I’m alone - really alone housebound wheelchair through No fault for my own... what you & I amd many others are experiencing is what we were promised. PERSECUTION JESUS said, if they hate (rejected Me, they will reject you also) isn’t that true? Haven’t you experienced that? What does God say “Count it all joy” Doesn’t feel like it does it?!?? Not to me anyway. I also declined the j-ab! I love in a town where I am cut off. Totally. I asked God to bring people - filter my relationships He did! I have a very FEW - all Relatives cut me off (If you love mother father son or daughter more than Me, you are not worthy of Me.) So, time is very short. You must hang on !!! I’ll always be here to encourage you. Remember we have an enemy Out to kill mame destroy us. And he’s fighting tooth & nail To get those of us who love GOD to become lukewarm!
