Don't forget Kumasi is an ancient city. Kumasi was well developed in the 60s when Accra was still a village so it will take some time for the city to catch up with Accra's new buildings. ❤❤❤
Kumasi is a well planned city. It was designed to be a city of large communities that could be small towns on their own, with their own markets, schools and parks but our chiefs and politicians have already destroyed the original plan. Bantama and Nhyiaso were designed to have modern technology buildings in the future while Kajetia and Adum were designed to hold markets and stores. The area around the race course, the cultural center and the Zoo were designed to be the future business area and the Nhyiaeso corridor was designed to be for modern hotels. Every building you see at Adum is individually owned with the exception of the ECG building.
Why do some of your equate sky scrapers with development? 😂... Travel around South France or Western and even many parts of Eastern Europe where cities are ancient and see.
@@kojojampa The Kumasi Zoo and Race Course as well as some parts of Nhyiaso are reserved for commercial buildings. This was why the Bantamahene was almost removed from his stool for trying to sell some lands at the race course. He's now turned his attention to the land opposite the military Barracks.
