Rengar is just a shitty champ if u not otp my best advice to give is just focus try to play the game like if u were a smurf get an early lead focus on farm and try to spot free ganks

u need to play many games before u stop trolling, like around 100 actively learning and u should be fine

In low elo, reset champs (the champs that have a passive benefiting from killing an enemy, such as Viego, Katarina or Jinx) and snowball champs are OP because one teammate or another is bound to make a mistake and die, because they are low rank and bound to make mistakes. If you improve and get to the point where you do not make those same mistakes, you will still be punished for theirs if the enemy has a reset/snowball champion. Imo you should aim to ban those champions in low elo, whichever you dislike the most. As the other reply said, counters don't really exist in Iron, as nobody really knows how to play their champ to their full potential. When you get a little higher up, you will get more consistent info for your matchups, because your opponent will play their champ at least at an average enough level for you to learn how much damage they do compared to yours, their powerspikes, their most damaging ability, etc. Then you can decide whatever you can't deal with.
