As someone who has never been to Vidcon, and has never traveled alone, I will be making a 22-hour drive from Texas to California. I am really excited, I just know that I want to have a great and safe time.

Just make sure to get gas during the day, and lock any valuables out of sight in your car. Don’t leave anything expensive in your vehicle - leave it in your hotel. Conventions attract people who look for easy marks. 😅

I was so naughty...last year (2022) was my first year returning to Vidcon, after I moved to Portland in 2016, had kids, then covid...I kept saying I would get around to doing a "my experiences at 2022 vidcon" video but I never did ^-^;; this year I resolve to be a lot more disciplined! I'm significantly older than you (almost forty) and have been making videos since literally the first year of youtube's existence, so I have very different perceptions of the content creator world. But it's always nice to hear the perspective of another con-goer. I hope you make it to 2023 and have a rewarding time!

hey okay so basically my mom JUST offered to take me to vidcon for my birthday (in July) and we would probably get the community track ticket, BUT before i like confirm to her to buy it im like. what the fuck am i going to do? because honestly i just REALLY wanna meet people but supposedly you were supposed to like sign up months earlier so im likeeeee what else do I do?? like what would i go for yk?? like all i wanna do is meet my favorite people but idek if i can😭😭 vidcon is so confusing

hi !! i’m so glad i caught this early haha, so basically the actual scheduled meet & greets are closed, however vidcon is doing a whole stand-by meet and greet session ! i’ll put the link below but essentially there are a bunch of different creators that have extra spots for their meet & greets that you can just show up for ! make sure to read the details on the site about the rules and how it all works but that’s one way you can still attend meet & greets ! there’s also a section at vidcon called the “bonus pop up zone” where random creators will be having meet and greets at random times as suprises :) there are also a bunch of chances for you to meet people wether it’s just walking around or after a panel etc. hopefully this was helpful in showing the ways you can still meet people :)) here’s the link for the stand by meet & greets : www.vidcon.com/anaheim/standby-meet-greets/ 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍

Hey! I just wanted to confirm, the creator track includes everything in the community track as well? I’m planning on going this year, my main reason for going is just meeting my favorite creators, is there any benefits for buying the creator track instead of community? I think I read something about being able to attend more shows or something like that but I’m not too sure? And thank you for the video, it explained a lot! :)

hi!! thank u so much i’m glad this video was at least a little helpful haha, in terms of registration for VidCon Baltimore i’m not sure. Looking at the schedule at a glance it’s showing that you can’t even register on Thursday, i’m not sure if that’s a mistake on VidCon’s part or if the earliest you register is Thursday. Hopefully closer to the event VidCon will clarify that but I would plan to try and register as soon as possible :)

hi !! i actually have every year except for 2017 ! 2018, 2019, & 2022 i got my first choice and sometimes my second & third as well ! it all just had to do with how popular that creator is. in 2017 i went with my friend and she REALLY wanted to meet liza koshy so we put her first but didn’t get her, obviously due to how popular she was at the time, but i would say there’s a very strong chance you will :)

hi !! in terms of packing i would recommend bringing just the basic necessities that you would bring anywhere, ( specifically: a strong portable charger, phone cord, wallet, deodorant, etc ) & also a strong bag ! you will be able to get a free vidcon drawstring when u get there however they’re, understandably, cheap and i wouldn’t rely on that as your main bag :) love u more !! 🤍🤍🤍

I have a question I bought a ticket for me and my sibling whos under 13 and we want to do a meet and greet but we both have the same order number so if I do the meet and greet will me and my sibling be both together??

hi! i believe if you put in the same order number, you already bought 2 separate tickets, and you enter the buddy system it should be good. just make sure you enter the buddy system and put in the same order number because that’s the only way you’ll both get the same meet & greets :)

What about Vidcon Baltimore???? Something that could have made this video worth while/different from the rest, would be to talk about Vidcon Baltmore, cause that's the one I'm going to, and I have no fucking clue about anything. Edit: I'm guessing its because Vidcon Cal is in about a month and Vidcon Md is in a quite a few months but still, you made your old videos when Vidcon 2021 or whatever, was first announced.

there has never been a vidcon baltimore before, nor have i been to any vidcon other than the one in california. i wouldn’t be able to make a video on something i don’t know about. however, most of the tips in this video should be able to help anyone going to any vidcon around the world :)
