Each week I'll be doing 1-2 example walkthroughs.
Check pinned comment for more edits!
Click below for tons more info...
The first run in each livestream/vod/youtube video will be a Budget Bofa run - this is the in-depth big explanation run with all the basic tools and tips and tricks each time.
The second run of the day may be bofa/tbow/speedrun style and each week I'll switch it up to explore a different aspect of the Inferno - or to show a different CA task.
The Bofa budget setup is the lowest gear I'd recommend, although it's certainly possible to do Inferno with much more budget setups.
Bofa Setup: i.imgur.com/rO4uduW.png
Tbow Setup: imgur.com/fxhos5k
s65 Setup: Join / discord (Inferno Speeds Discord)
Amethyst or Dragon darts recommended.
95 range, 95 mage, 80 defence, 92 prayer recommended, higher is better.
Some downgrades:
Zaryte vambraces to Barrows gloves
Ancestral top to Ahrims top or Mystic top
Kodai to Ancient staff or Ancient sceptre
Ring of the gods (i) to Ring of suffering (i)
Masori to d'hide
5 brews as a minimum is good if you want more slots for restores or other things.
Magic legs are NOT considered valuable in any way.
Ring of the Gods (i) in combination with Devout Boots give essentially infinite prayer with minimal flicking, negating the use for any Lightbearer or Eldritch, which I consider to be heavy noob traps that only detriment first-capers. Crystal armor in general has amazing prayer bonus and range defence, while Masori has all round very good defence and Tbow makes the magers rapid.
These runs have a focus on good solves, melee dig preparation, and simple prayer flicking solutions. The max gear/speedrun has more emphasis on lossless 1 tick flicking as it's very simple and I expect anyone in that gear to be capable already or capable of learning it fast.
The plugin to hide dead NPC's and prevent misclicks is "Entity Hider", mark "Hide Dead NPC's" in the Plugin. There are not many other useful plugins for Inferno, Tile Markers can be good, but don't overuse them!
Tons of players have had great success in the following days trying to imitate this style and while there will always be a learning curve to the content, putting some time in to learn the likes of 1 tick alternation at the very least will add a powerful tool to help you on your road to first cape.

Big 100K on the vid! Thanks so much and here's some good info for anyone attempting runs: 1: Later FCF runs may be a bit better as I improved my teaching methods a little, FCF 10 especially I tried to showcase how powerful/easy DPS solutions are. (Playlist to all 10 are in the description of the vid. 2: Kodai > Nightmare Staff/SOTD > Blood Sceptre > Ice Sceptre. Don't go out of your way to get a blood/ice sceptre, they're great budget options though. 3: STATS! - 99 Range/Mage + 92 Prayer especially is SO important, stats > gear. Virtus Top is now BIS over ancestral top, Occult nerf changes NOTHING! When the prayer renewal pots drop they'll be effective and you can probably take 4 or so of those and drop 4 restores, take more brew or range pot etc, I'll also make some updated videos whenever we get there, 4: There's a bunch more info in the Video Description! A lot of you getting cape with this process/method have enjoyed it greatly enough to do tasks - check out the Inferno Speeds Discord for more advice and cool tech you can apply to your Task runs for crazy times and easy pet hunting. Edit: 5: At 67 minutes on the run timer I probably make the silliest mistake of the run, would have been fine dpsing the melee, or just staying west of the North Pillar, not every wave is perfect but cutting out the awful waves means you're way more likely to get to zuk! Cheers!

There are a lot of really good inferno guides out there, but this one is just on another level. The way you explain every little aspect of the inferno even down to dealing with flicking the blobs early.. most people kind of expect you to have a metronome running in your head but you just make it make sense. If you're far away, swap prayers as it hits you, if you're close, swap after about a second. Man, I'm genuinely kinda hyped to try out a bofa run now, thank you for this guide!

Really great series, thanks for making this, it helped me get my cape. Only thing I would say for people trying with bowfa is I lost a couple runs trying to kill healers before 2nd set and they spawned during it. I guess that means I'm not that efficient at not wasting ticks but I don't think my movement was that bad. Something to look out for, if you're any bit slow you probably want to wait for 2nd set before doing healers.

Thank you for the series. It did, in fact, take less than a week (two days)

Aaty brother! So I’m a pretty high level player, but have put the inferno off for a year. I do level 400 TOA’s regularly, TOB, have my 500 TOA Fang Kit, thousands of CG, PNM, and other content, but I’ve been putting Inferno off as I wasn’t sure I had the skill level for it. I finally decided to take the plunge 3 days ago, and your videos are a GODSEND! I made a new pb last night after only two days of going in, and made it to wave 58, panicked and didn’t start 1t alternating early enough and got smoked. However, all of my friends are telling me getting to wave 58 after two days is a MASSIVE accomplishment. I wasn’t sure if I just got lucky, but they reassured me you don’t get far in the inferno with luck, lol. I’m definitely noticing I’m getting a lot better and more comfortable with all the mechanics, just need more time learning wave solves. Thanks so much for you videos man. Hoping to have my cape within the next week or two!

I joined the ranks of first capers with Aaty to thank. 87 attempts, 6 zuks. No running south, no cheesy justi/eldritch/lightbearer strats. Just by simply learning to deal with blobs and plan around the melee you can consistently get through the waves, 60-63 are nothing to sweat over

How necessary do you think Rigour is for a first cape? I've got everything else I need on my Iron, but I'm not sure if I should start sending inferno or wait until I get Rigour from CoX Also, thanks a ton for your clarity in this video! It's no wonder so many people suggested I check this series out!

Not necessary, but highly recommended to get before starting. It's a bit like bofa nowadays where it all goes hand in hand and contributes to a great dps output setup, which is what this all focuses on.

I’ve been attempting bowfa runs to mimic the irons gear. Keep getting nuked by mage double blob waves. Gonna use this for reference later 👍

I'm being forced by my friends to start the inferno grind, been sitting on all the gear needed for it but just held out..... In a few days when I get home I'll start doing runs and watch this video a couple of times. Great work!!! And thank you! :D

its nowhere near as bad as people say, give it some time and focus on learning and it can be an extremely fun and challenging experience you benefit from - plus getting cape is an amazing moment!

Rewatching this video because I watched it less than a week ago having ZERO INFERNO EXPERIENCE. I received my cape in about 5 days of grinding inferno while off school. Max cape / Suffering because I didnt have rotg Dropped the Verac's Helm for the chelm because daaty told me to and kept rewatching especially the 50-64 waves of each fcf. YOU CAN DO THIS

Even tho you cannot use them inside inferno, ur inventory loadout is just not the same without the purple sweets stack.

Even after getting a cape, it’s interesting to see others do it cause you learn something new. 1:10:20 was a nice move, never thought of that solve. This will be handy whenever I go back for a task, nice!

WOAH!!! Yo thank you for time stamping that holy shit. That's such a beautiful method. I will do this from now on. I haven't even got the cape yet and I swear I'm literally a god at flicking now. But I have bad anxiety irl and it affects me in game... when the shit goes down I sorta freeze and overthink everything and die. :\ it's dumb because I can do the entire inferno without taking damage until I get a bad/stressful spawn then game over.
