I'd be just as happy for this young man if he was a 3 star committing to us. I'm thinking of guys like Taurean York and De'Von Achane. He seems to fit in that category on his background (yeah I know, the cliche lunch pail guy), not to diminish his 5 star rating. His 5-star in my mind reflects the mature persona he's carried in HS. De'Von has already proved his worth at Miami. Taurean is already established as a force at LB in the SEC. Like Achane and York, 2nd round or better NFL talent is what we're looking at. With his 5-star talent, the upside is a HOF NFL player.
Pretty sure engineering doesn’t require excellent verbal skills, DB. Engineers aren’t exactly the most logical communicators. Plus he’s obviously going to College Station because they had more money to give him.
